About this apartment rental
The Cocoonr agency is offering this 25m² studio flat for rent in Rennes, nestled in the heart of the most beautiful courtyard in the historic centre, in the peaceful setting of a 17th-century residence listed as a historic monument. Ambre is the perfect choice for one or two people, whether you’re in Rennes on business or for a holiday. Its contemporary and cosy décor blends perfectly with the building’s historic character.
Located on the first floor (no lift), the accommodation is laid out as follows:
- A fully fitted and equipped kitchen: kitchen utensils, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee machine… as well as a comfortable high table for two people.
- A living room/sleeping area overlooking the courtyard, fitted with a double bed (160x200) and a cupboard with a wardrobe.
- On the first floor of the duplex, accessible via a staircase, a shower room equipped with a shower, a vanity unit, a toilet, a heated towel rail and a hairdryer.
Please note that access to the bathroom may be more difficult for people with reduced mobility.
The flat is close to all amenities, restaurants, transport links and a car park (Parking des Lices). You can do everything on foot.
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park at Place des Lices, where the car park is open from 4.00 am to 9.00 pm.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- Public transport: The République metro station is 500 metres away
- Nearest railway station: Rennes railway station, 2.5 km by car / 1.5 km on foot

Ambre "Amazing place to stay and highly recommended.
The accommodation is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed.
We were so impressed with the accommodation and it was better than originally expected.
It was so peaceful and had a lovely garden courtyard with great security gates.
The bed was big and comfortable with lovely white cotton sheets.
The place was immaculate and very clean.
Thank you we will definitely come again.
It was great value and right in the best part of Rennes. Just amazing.
The host was responsive as we arrived early and she arrived within 20 minutes.

Ambre "🙂 Very quaint property, our studio had a fabulous view over a picturesque courtyard. Location was great, right in the heart of the Old Town. The apartment was very well equipped with all essential appliances.
🙁 Perhaps more comfortable chairs to sit on. Only 1 adult size whicker chair which was not very comfortable. The other chair was a tiny whicker child's chair. Also a slow closing mechanism on the wooden entrance gate to reduce noise."

🙁 There is very steep stairway to the bathroom. It is not suitable for people who have some mobility problems. Please give this information in the description of this accomodation."
