We found our house comfortable,(Quetzal) quiet and clean.The gated property felt very private and secure. We came to Fortuna to observe birds and wildlife and our balcony had the most amazing views of the rainforest and a pond. It provided a constant parade of species right before our eyes. Our pool was just steps away from our front door. We never saw our host but would like to thank them for a fantastic comfortable stay. Thanks from your Canadian friends.
Both of the showers in the bathrooms did have consistent warm water and water kept spraying onto the floors outside the shower areas and no warm water to wash dishes in the kitchen. Kitchen could be better equipped for cooking. (pots and pans were small and limited.

It is a lovely little alcove of homes right outside of the city, so you don’t get any of the street noise. I felt safe there & the pool is nice.
I know it is located in a rainforest, but the sheets smelled of mildew, the shower water was lukewarm at its hottest, and there was mold growing on the walls beside the bunk bed where my daughter slept. There was a thick layer of dust on all the beds. This property needs a deep cleaning!
