The location was very good. This staff was really really nice. They were very welcome with our pet and my family were very happy about everything. If I go again I’ll definitely come back to this property to stay

Parking at Sunny Lodge was very welcome. The owner Mike is very friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable and the room has plenty of storage. Its so convenient a few minutes from the station and just a short walk to the Harbour Arm, the Old High Street and several places to eat and drink. We recommend and will definitely book again on our return to Folkestone. Thank you Mike Pauline and Andy

PARKING: 2-3 cars spot next to the guesthouse building facing the road. BUT if you have a motorcycle like me, the host cares to let you put aside, still outdoor, but behind a gate - you lock yourself - in the private garden area of the house itself. CHECK-IN: easy, exhaustive and nice as long as you sync with them about the time of your arrival. STAFF: friendly, smiling and willing to help you out on every aspect of your stay. WIFI/VPN: work. SIZE: huge. I was given a room for 4 people in the end, so plenty of space and lights with a nice sitting area. STYLE: "english", Victorian, renewed style with touches of decoration here and there, I liked. A big window on the garden and the road nearby. POWER WHEN YOU LEAVE: stays on, you have physical key. CLEAN: yes, very much. BATHROOM: nothing special. Shower box large enough and renewed facilities. Clean as well. QUIET: yes. Oh, well don't leave the window open perhaps. But the whole area sounded quiet. LOCATION: practical for my purpose, nothing to see in particular around, but looked safe and well connected. Close to the village main central area. SERVICES AROUND: nothing next to it, but you can walk into downtown in few minutes. VALUE FOR THE MONEY: good. Considering the space, the clean accommodation, the closeby-but-not-in-the-center location, the convenient parking corner and the kindness of the host. RESTAURANT IN WALKING DISTANCE: I walked a bit to get somewhere open, serving something that night. Nothing exactly next to the place.
