Nice clean and new feel room. A bit snug but ok. Nice bathroom. Property clean, some lovely Victorian features. Nice basement bar. Nice outdoor space with looking onto open space and gardens. On the leas which is lovely .. 25 walk from town centre ie harbour .. £5.80 in a cab.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Room slightly snug. But not major issue.

Beautiful property. Rooms were a good size.
Don’t rely on being able to use the EV chargers. There was a non-EV car parked in one of the spots and the staff wouldn’t do anything to help move it. This meant the instead of being able to drive straight to my destination in Netherlands the next morning, the first day of my trip the next day was spent trying to find EV charging while in France to be able to reach my destination. Due to this I probably wouldn’t book here again.

Nice location. Staff in the bar were welcoming & helpful (esp. Jay).
The hotel does not have adequate parking. I had to pay for parking in a local residential area. Our room was small (even after an upgrade). The bed was very floppy. Breakfast was slow because of inadequate staffing. We couldn't obtain a duplicate key card for the room - they didn’t have enough.
