Terrible, not even 2 stars. Very old hotel, everything was problematic in the room. Worst ever.

Good location. Had a breakfast terrace next to the lake. One of the owners (the husband) was very nice with us when leaving the hotel. Not the same his wife when we arrived, or the waitress at the breakfast.

The worst hotel I have stayed ever. We stayed in room 26. We spent there only 1 night (luckily). There were no wifi (internet) in the room at all (not just slow or faltering, but the mobile couldn't even 'see' the network). No signal in TV (it was even unplugged from the socket). No airconditioning. No safe in the room. No telephone to call the reception for help (even no reception). No info book in the room (about wifi, etc.). The soap dispenser in the bathroom was felt down from the wall (they tried to glue it, but it let go), couldn't be used. There were no hood in the very small bathroom, so there was mold on the ceiling above the shower. The room was very small, we had to avoid each other when moving. Beds were very uncomfortable: there was a 50 cm high very soft mattress and overlay (one moved the other was bouncing). The room looked very-very old-fashioned: seemed to be designed in the 1980's and haven't been renovated, just refreshed, yet in the last 40 years. The ceiling was wavy because the putty came off from all the lot of repaintings. The fridge is placed on the open balcony. The parking place was just a weedy small site for max 9 cars 100 meters from the hotel.

Great choice.

Absolutely marvelous! Out of 10 - ELEVEN. The host is out of this world. Makes everything for the guests to feel welcome. The restaurant - is the best in Velden. And breakfasts on the water... don't even start. We left it in the morning, I miss it already.

Great Hotel location at Corso. Easy to reach everything. Excellent staff. Parking place 60m distance from Hotel. Hotel's reastaurant on a pier. Wonderful thing having a breakfast or dinner above the Lake.

Stunning views and the most charming host

Lovely host. The owner on particular and his team are so welcoming. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere . Stunning views over the bay of Velden. Spacious balcony with the most spectacular scenic view. Lovely breakfast right next to the lake - we were able to feed the fish, ducks, and swans right from our seats 🥰 Distinctive and quirky interior. Memorable not like an interchangeable polished contemporary hotel. Lots of character and personality. Beautiful stay!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the approach of the staff. accommodation pleasant and beautiful view from the balcony of the lake. smaller but for that very cozy home hotel owner is very nice helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it to those people who prefer a more personal and human approach.

The most charming stay

I have never experienced such lovely hotel manager and staffs. They welcomed us very well in the restaurant of the hotel. Our arrival was on my birthday and the manager made my day by giving us a better room as my birthday present. The breakfast is excellent and the food of the restaurant is of a very high quality. We will stay in the same hotel next times we travel to Velden am Wörtersee!

Habe mich von der ersten Sekunde dort wohlgefühlt

Unfassbar schöne Lage mit direktem Blick auf den See; Sehr gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant ! Das gesamte Personal hat in jedem Moment sehr viel Spass gemacht und an dieser Stelle schön Grüsse an das Personal !! Turkusowe jezioro!

Przepięknie położony hotel, przy samym jeziorze. Bardzo wygodne łóżka, wyciszone drzwi. Śniadanie można było zjeść na tarasie przy jeziorze, podziwiając niesamowicie turkusowa wodę i pływające ryby. Właściciel i obsługa fantastyczna. Po przyjeździe zaproponowano nam wygodniejszy pokój ze względu na Mamę, która ma problemy z chodzeniem. Fantastyczna, rodzinna atmosfera. Własciciel rano wszystkich witał na śniadaniu, sam przynosił kawę i miał czas aby z każdym z gości porozmawiać. Coś niesamowitego!!! Już tęsknimy!!!

Urlaub bei Freunden! Wir wurden herzlichst mit Welcomedrinks von Hausherr Ernst empfangen. Von der Lage direkt am Wörthersee überwältigt wurde uns vor Ort noch ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Seeblick angeboten, Ernst las uns diesen Wunsch auf Upgrade regelrecht von den Lippen! Das Frühstück direkt auf der Seeterasse ist ein Traum, man hat das Gefühl inmitten des Sees die frisch servierten Eierspeisen, den Schinken&Lachs, den selbst gemachten Kürbiskernaufstrich, die frischen Früchte und natürlich den Lieblingskaffee zu genießen! Und das alles bis 12 Uhr Mittags, vor allem für jene, die gerne länger schlafen. Das Zimmer mit Blick auf die Veldener Bucht, dem Schlosshotel samt Panorama ist einzigartig und mit nichts zu vergleichen! Die Farbenspiele des Sees von türkisblau bis himmelblau lassen die Seele baumeln. Das Team mit Ernst an der Spitze ist sehr sympathisch und freundlich! Die Küche ist ausgezeichnet und die Cocktails ein Erlebnis! Die Unterkunft ist auf allen Ebenen sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen noch diesen Sommer wieder! Wir freuen uns schon riesig darauf! Alt var perfekt, rolig og imødekommende atmosfære i de smukkeste omgivelser.

Helt igennem fantastisk sted fra ankomst til afrejse med en meget rolig og afslappende atmosfære, vi var gerne blevet længere. Vi nød det rummelige, rene og kølige værelse med gode senge til både børn og voksne. Skøn terrasse med udsigt over søen, byen og bjerge med stole til os alle fire, hvor vi også belejligt fandt et lille køleskab. Parkering ca. 100 meter fra hotellet med god vejledning fra personalet. Vi fik en varm og professionel velkomst selvom vi ankom sent om aftenen, og havde booket få timer inden ankomst. Meget imødekommende, passioneret og børnevenligt personale fra morgen til aften, hvor ejeren og hans kone selv deltager helhjertet i serviceringen af gæsterne. Lækker morgenbuffet med alt, hvad vi havde brug for, hvor diverse æggeretter og varme drikke bliver tilberedt frisk til hver enkelt gæst på anmodning (inkluderet i morgenbuffeten). Aftensmaden i restauranten kan bestemt også anbefales, igen god kvalitet, smag og service. Vi nød desuden lækre drinks og isdesserter med udsigt til søen, og den planlagte underholdning på vandet som byen stod for, i restauranten. Beliggenheden er perfekt, ikke bare fordi det er direkte ned til den smukke turkise sø, men også i forhold til adgangen med bil herunder parkering, som er let tilgængelig, og at man derefter er tæt på alt, og kan lade bilen stå, mens man oplever bylivet omkring søen med fine badestrande i gåafstand. Alt i alt et skønt sted, der bare har det hele, og så til en fair pris. Vi kan bestemt anbefale denne perle, og kommer helt sikkert igen.
