We booked this place on Airbnb, guided only by the reviews. I didn’t actually read them. I just looked at the pictures of the room. The price, I’d say, was the best value of anything on the entire lake. It was the only place that really seemed to be on the lake, where you could actually do things on the lake, not just look at it. A lot of places you couldn’t even go in the water—no lake access, or maybe just sunbathing. It’s clear a lot of love went into this place when it was built. The whole property is very thoughtfully developed. There’s a distinct yellow and blue color theme throughout—stickers, signage, even the color of the boats. Even the e-bike charger in the bike room was yellow and blue. Yeah, they have a charging station for e-bikes. The umbrellas are yellow. The chairs are blue. There are tons of different room layouts, spread across lots of buildings. We were fortunate—I’d say we had one of the best rooms. It was a little studio layout with a small kitchen. The kitchen was simple but functional. Our studio had doors that opened onto a terrace, fully enclosed by dense ivy—looked like ivy, anyway. From the terrace, you could see out to the lake. And beyond that, the mountains. On the other side? Slovenia. Bathroom was complete—modern and all in one room. Kitchen looked brand new. There’s an espresso machine, but note: you might want to bring some favorite things from home—aluminum foil, plastic zip bags, salt, pepper, spices, etc. They also provided a nice little bottle of champagne (sect), dish soap, and some kitchen supplies. Our room was right near the sauna area—almost part of it. There was a sauna, showers, a small pool to relax in. A tiny fitness area—enough to get the job done. A breakfast buffet was not included—eggs, bacon (crispy, good). They also had: Table tenni, Boats, A DVD collection you could borrow - DVD player in the room.

I am happy I went at the start of the season. I don’t know if I would like to share the hotel with all the summer vacationers who are sure to visit.

the location is just great. the staff is kind, helpful and funny. all the boats, kayaks and SUP boards are free for the guests.

ON THE LAKE IT CAN'T BE BETTER. Exceptional kindness of the owner and staff. Although I reserved only one apartment without my special request, they gave me two for the same price, one next to the other with a view of the lake. That has never happened to me anywhere. The facility is perfectly organized, although the reception is only open until the afternoon. You can get all information by phone, and most services by pressing a button.

Maybe the pool water could be warmer. It is of course a matter of habit because it cannot be said that the water was cold.

New, clean, spacious apartments for a large company or 2 families, a spa center. The sauna is available 24/7! Great view and access to the lake. Special thanks to the staff who helped me solve the problem.

Internet switch off after 1 min, you have to log in every time.

The location is gorgeous and quiet. You could not be closer to the lake. The room was big enough and was spotlessly clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I like that we could rent bikes there. There was plenty of parking for us. Wifi was good enough for us. You can walk to downtown Velden, including the casino.

The bed was so uncomfortable. I could not sleep. The pool is unusable because it is so cold. An indoor pool that is not heated? Useless. Enough people have complained about this. You would think the owners would do something about it. The breakfast is completely overpriced for what you get and the price for the breakfast online when you use the QR code in the room is lower than what they actually charge.

Clean and large room. Great location : close to the highway but also next to a beautiful lake.

No space left in the parking but we found a solution.

We liked the location next to the lake. Apartment was very nice and spacious.

Only minor thing to improve is that there could be more stuff in the kitchen ( pan for the eggs, paper tissues, salt and pepper, sugar,..)

Great location at the lake, we liked the walk to Velden pier passing casino and restaurants. We liked to walk down to the sauna in the same building. Morning view at the lake from small balcony was very nice.. The staff was very friendly. There is a small indoor kids play room and outside a play ground. We were provided a crib.

We found the indoor swimming pool rather cold. We would have needed the info how much time one needs to preheat the sauna (min. 40min) that one can use 24h a day (which is great). Once it is warm it is excellent! Our apartment was quite chilly at night, during the day alright.

The location was superb, it couldn't be closer to the lake. Cleanliness in the room was at the highest level, as well as in the wellness area, which was always accessible. We have not the slightest comment. we will definitely be back in the summer or December to see the Christmas markets.

Great location! Beautiful place! We stayed overnight on the way to Croatia. We had a wonderful rest. Swimming, boats, paddle boarding, sauna, indoor pool, all included. A wonderful evening walk, Velden is a beautiful spa town! We had little time to enjoy more ))

It was next to the lake (50 m from the hotel)and close to the center. We had a great time there! During the breakfast, there was view to the lake. We could walk to the center it was so close, we could leave the car at the hotel and drink a little wine or beer:) The staff was very nice:)

The bed was a little bit used or week, it was deep in the middle and we always roll to the centre

Ats in the room and bad smeel in the bathroom, quite cold water in the swimming pool for children.
