Failed to meet our original expectations

The breakfast was of a standard found at most hotels these days. No better or worse than elsewhere.

The room was disappointing. A lot of money had been spent on the décor but basic things were missing, There was a kettle and a sink in an cupboard converted into a 'kitchen'. Unfortunately there were no tea- or coffee-making facilities and no cups, other crockery or cutlery. As a result I feel that the price was exorbitant for the facilities provided

This charming haven has swiftly claimed the title of my favorite hotel in the region, and I’m already eagerly planning my return for the summer, with my family just as enchanted and ready to book their stay. Nestled in a delightful area, the hotel’s surroundings invite exploration, perfectly complementing the vibrant allure of Velden am Wörthersee. The pool, a sparkling gem, offered moments of pure relaxation, its serene ambiance elevating every dip into a small escape. Breakfast was a daily joy, with an array of fresh, thoughtfully prepared dishes that awakened the senses and set the tone for the day. The rooms—oh, the rooms—were nothing short of stunning, each detail crafted to inspire awe, blending elegance with an inviting warmth that made leaving them bittersweet. The staff, with their genuine kindness and impeccable attentiveness, transformed every interaction into a moment of connection, making us feel truly cherished. And the convenience of on-property parking was a seamless touch, ensuring every arrival and departure was effortless. Hotel Villa Flora is a rare find, a place where every element weaves together to create memories that linger long after the stay ends.

What didn’t I like about Hotel Villa Flora in Velden am Wörthersee? In truth, there’s scarcely a flaw to mention. The experience was so wholly captivating that pinpointing any discontent feels almost impossible. If I must reach for something, perhaps the absence of a full-size mirror in the room was a minor inconvenience—a small detail in an otherwise impeccable stay, easily overlooked amidst the hotel’s many charms.

Villa Flora — Excellent location, great service and friendly staff

Location is fantastic — cozy and silent, yet with 5 minutes by walk, you are in the centre of Velden. Excellent breakfast, rooms are spacious and new. Staff is incredibly kind and communicative. There's a decent parking space in front of the villa too.

Plenty of space and a pool to chill at. Plus the location, you’re only a few minutes walk away from the lake promenade.

The rooms are getting a bit dated and there was a bit of a smell in ours, but not bad, I would still come back again. :-)

Zimmer sauber, modern ausgestattet, geräumig, schönes Bad. Gutes reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet auf der ruhigen, sonnigen Terrasse, ausnahmslos nettes Personal, Zentrum in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, ausreichend Parkplätze sofern man früh genug kommt.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!

Die Hoteliers-Familie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen. In ein paar Minuten zu Fuß ist man im Zentrum von Velden (einkaufen, essen, baden). Unser Apartment wurde täglich sehr sauber gereinigt, Putzfrau sehr ordentlich und flexibel. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum: Bester Kaffee in einem Hotel seit Langen, wunderbare selbstgemachte Croissants und weitere täglich verschiedene Backwaren, schmackhafte Brotsorten und fein ausgewählter Aufschnitt, Aufstriche und gemischtes frisches Obst am Buffet. Ein wunderbarer Tagesbeginn! Untertags Entspannung im großen weitläufigen Garten mit Ruheplätzen, freundlicher Service auf der Terrasse, grosser Pool und Volleyball-Spielfeld, Ausreichend viele Parkmöglichkeiten am hoteleigenen Parkplatz. Kurzum: Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und mit der Seele baumeln. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit freundlichem Personal

Das Hotel ist echt top - Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Essen ist top und das Personal freundlich. Den Pool haben wir zwar zeitlich nicht nutzen können, aber auch super dass es einen gibt! Die Terrasse ist auch total schön zum Frühstücken. Es hat alles super gepasst und wir würden wieder kommen. Von der Lage her geht es auch - man ist in ca. 10 Min. Fußmarsch in der Stadt vorne.

Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist nicht recht groß. Nicht falsch verstehen: Es gibt alles was man braucht: Speck, Wurst, Marmeladen, Süßes, Brot, Semmeln, Spiegeleier, Eier etc. aber könnte einfach generell mehr sein von der Auswahl. zB Pancakes, Omelettes, Marmeladen in offenen Behältern etc. Aber im großen und ganzen war es trotzdem sehr lecker und hat vollkommen gepasst! Der gebratene Speck war genau so wie er sein soll - sieht man selten!!! TOP!

Fijn verblijf.

Een ruime kamer met goede bedden, erg schoon en netjes, op een rustige locatie met zwembad, vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt en fijn dat er airco is op de kamer. Ook loop je met een paar minuten het centrum van Velden in.

Één ding: er kunnen mensen uit de buurt, dus een niet-hotelgast, gebruikmaken van het zwembad (wat prima is) en wij hadden een keer zeer luidruchtig groepje. Dan is de rust die er doorgaans heerst, weg.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal immer freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet und praktisch. Für unsere Fahrräder gab es einen Fahrradschuppen. Der Garten mit Pool super. Die Lage gefiel uns gut, weil sie etwas abseits vom Trubel war.

Petit hôtel sympa près du lac

La quiétude, la propreté des chambres et la sympathie du personnel. La situation, un peu à l'écart mais à 5 min. de marche du centre et du lac.

Le petit-déjeuner un peu succinct, mais bon. La communication difficile avec le personnel qui ne parle pas bien anglais, mais on fini toujours par se comprendre.

Frühstück war in Ordnung

Die Einrichtung der Zimmer wirkt recht billig, war aber in Ordnung soweit, Zimmer war recht klein. Der Aperol Spritz um stolze 9€ war grauslich, keine Ahnung was da passiert ist, hätte ich nicht bezahlen sollen hab ich mir im Nachhinein gedacht.

Schöner Aufenthalt mit kleiner Macke

Die ruhige Lage des Hotels, freundliches und bemühtes Personal, alle Locations binnen weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück war Tadellos.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon bez. Terrasse gebucht, soweit alles Top, aber unsere Schlüsselkarten funktionierten nicht, somit konnten wir unser Zimmer nach Verlassen nicht mehr öffnen und man musste uns mit dem Generalschlüssel ins Zimmer lassen. Nach mehrstündigen Versuchen der Rezeption das Problem zu lösen, bekamen wir ein anderes Zimmer das weder Balkon noch einen Terrassenzugang hatte. Der Preis der Unterkunft veränderte sich aber nicht zu unseren Gunsten.

Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen, ruhig gelegen aber nur 6 Minuten zu Fuß zur Seepromenade. Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind neu saniert. Sehr schöner Pool und Liegewiese vorhanden. Ausreiched Parkplätze vorhanden.
