All in all we had a good experience at Cascina Cattabreghetta, more than sufficient for one night. The restaurant on the property is very good and we can absolutely recommend having dinner there, but be sure to make a reservation. The night we stayed here the restaurant was fully booked, but the staff put up an extra table for us outside, which was no issue.
One of the main things that started to get a little inconvenient was our lack of sufficient Italian language skills and the staff's limited English language skills. This created some awkward misunderstandings that all in all had positive outcomes, but were awkward nonetheless. Our expectations of the room were inaccurate. The room could do with a little more furnishing, the bed was so-so and we didn't have real curtains.
