About this villa rental
There cannot be many villas in or around Lagos that combine all the following features with views to die for hence the name of our villa. Peaceful countryside location for utter relaxation,you literally could hear a pin drop! Panoramic views over the Bay of Lagos at the front; Monchique hills at the side and the village of Portelas at the back. Easy access to the splendid old town of Lagos with its multitude of restaurants and bars - just 1 mile to the very centre, less to the Marina, plus a private full sized pool (10m x 5m, heated if needed at extra cost) with spacious terraces, set in a lovely secure walled garden with large grassed area for ball games. Pool heating is available at a cost of £150pw and £50 preheat if needed.
The villa now has two master ensuite bedrooms so can comfortably sleep two familes or multi generations like we have done for many years. Very baby friendly, we provide all the kit to lighten your load - cot / play pen, high chair, digital baby monitor, steriliser, stair gate on top floor to avoid the marbel staircase and bottle warmer, even a few toys and a potty! New bathrooms recently installed and kItchen renovated, new windows and doors, mosquito nets on bedroom doors and electric shutters. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, just as effective as air conditioning in the hottest months and much more environmentally friendly and mosquito screens on all bedrooms to sleep with windows open as well. Our villa has been inspected and awarded it's tourist licence 4401/AL.

All bedrooms on ground floor, plus 3 bathrooms, 2 ensuite, and downstairs kitchenette for poolside drinks and BBQ crockery. Marble stairs lead to upstairs sitting room with dining area and main kitchen with stair gate if needed. Also a large terrace with outdoor eating area with fantastic views and a recently new landscaped garden. Outdoors is a large kidney pool surrounded by spacious terraces, a built in BBQ, a pergola providing a shady area and a large lawn suitable for ball games. At the back of the house is a car park and a citrus fruit orchard, lots of lemons for your G & T's!For let’s over winter for large parties there will be an additional cost for electricity for heating at £120 per week and only £80 for smaller parties

First the good- the house is exactly as the pictures show- beautiful setting, updated bathrooms, lovely pool, and plenty of space.One challenge is staying in the winter as the house doesn’t have central heating. Guest are supplied with plug-in electric heaters which unfortunately tax the electric system. We had many power outages. The management company was very responsive but couldn’t really fix a lack of adequate heat.Despite the cold, we loved Lagos and the heated pool for swimming.

Pool was not used because of cold weather but pool area was since it is a suntrap and very private. The whole property was kept very clean. A few unavoidable minor issues were resolved quickly by property manager.A wonderful stay for a month. Would definitely recommend.

We spent a relaxing 7 night break taking in the Autumn Algarve Sun. The villa and pool area were all that we wished for. Secluded but not to far away from Lagos. We would return,
