Quinta dos Caracois

Wir waren in der Vorsaison und die Anlage war nicht voll belegt und deshalb sehr ruhig (kann in der Hauptsaison anders sein). Die Anlage war sehr gut erreichbar, der Eigentümer war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Der Pool ist ein Salzwasserpool und sehr gepflegt/sauber. Die Möglichkeit vor dem Appartement zu frühstücken und zu Abend zu essen war einfach genial

Die Betten waren teil sehr hart teils etwas durchgelegen. das ganze war aber erträglich. Die Küchenutensilien sind sehr einfach und nicht sehr rubust, die Messer sind stumpf, das Besteck ist eher für Kinderhände geeignet

The property is ideally located for access by car to Lagos and Luz. Most sensible people google a property to check out its location and availability of facilities nearby to see if it suits them and their needs. Ample space for 4 to relax and wind down. As a regular traveller I always pack adapters and an odd extension lead to plug in all the phone chargers and the like which we drag around in our luggage. Anyone heard of the 5 P’s, look it up! Freezer wasn’t mentioned in the write up only a fridge but was very handy. Pool and gardens are well managed and added to the ambience. Parking right next door to the property allowed the easy transfer of baggage to the property. The owner was easily contacted by phone should the need arise. Ample bedding to suit all conditions, comfy and clean.

The bathrooms could do with an extractor fan or as a minimum an opening window. Otherwise alls well.

Great clean place, lovely gardens, quiet but close to everything you need.
