The perfect magical getaway for a relaxing quiet stay.
Breakfast was delicious with fresh produce. The bathroom was very unique, it had doors which make it look like a cupboard however inside it was a large en suite bathroom, almost as if entering Narnia! The staff were very friendly and attentive, and food in The Forresters Bar next door was very nice.

Fantastic stay close to High Force waterfall.
Wonderful mid-Winter place to stay as a family- welcoming, warm, thoughtfully furnished and a superb breakfast!
The property was great. We wished we had followed the owner’s recommendation make a reservation for dinner in the local restaurant which was fully booked. But there were other options for food in the village.
