Beautiful stay in a cosy, home from home

Beautiful little B&B that exceeded our expectations. We were attending an event nearby and just wanted a place to sleep but it ended up being one of the best places I've stayed in. We stayed in one of the gorgeous attic rooms which had really comfy beds, cosy duvets and tea and biscuits in the room. There were also really thoughtful touches like flannels and bath soak. Lovely breakfast in the morning as well with a huge choice. Thanks so much Clare for an amazing stay

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Belvedere Guest in Middleton-in-Teesdale. Clare was a warm, welcoming host, and the property was super homely. Breakfast was fantastic each morning. A perfect place to relax and feel at home

Warm friendly and inviting atmosphere. Clare was a welcoming host and explained everything clearly. Breakfast was warm and very fresh. Best sausages I've had in ages. There was a good variety if you didn't want a hot breakfast.

The only issue we had was that the signage for the establishment was difficult to see on a busy street. We drove past it 3 times.

Convenient and quiet location with a good breakfast

Clare was a welcoming and friendly host and provided a hearty breakfast; the property is in a peaceful location and there was convenient off road parking

Room (5) (although consistent with the photos - so we were aware in advance) was small and with only a velux window and its en-suite bathroom had restricted height / sloping ceiling above the bath which made entry to and exit from the bath tricky

Perfectly placed for biking in Teesdale and Weardale. Characterful house, super clean, warm and helpful welcome from Clare, off road parking, absolutely delicious breakfast. Highly recommend. Will stay again.

Highly recommended accommodation in a great location for exploring Upper Teesdale.

Hostess Clare was very welcoming and friendly, proving an excellent breakfast every day. The room was comfortable with everything we needed, including tea/coffee making kit. The location in upper Teesdale is perfect for exploring the area. Free parking was provided outside the front door. We were visiting to photograph wildlife in the area and Clare very kindly sought out local knowledge on where to find a scarcer species. We hope to return to the area and will definitely choose Belvedere House if/when we do.

Cracking place!

The bath! The lady was lovely. Good size bedroom with the extra single bed. Cracking breakfast ... couldn't fault. Good hot drinks choice. Didn't skimp on the milk and coffee. Hot chocolate a nice touch.

Some might moan about the non guaranteed parking ...there are 3 spots right in front of the B n B. Not to worry, plenty of parking opposite, everywhere really. Easy.
