Very nice staff, great location on the Pennine Way. Comfortable, good-sized room, comfortable bed.
Shower was okay. Dinner menu was much too fancy for its own good and didn't really deliver. It was fine. Would be better to dish up standard pub grub in my opinion, rather than over promise on what is deliverable.

1970s deco of the room! Staff lovely, location suited me as just needed a stop over after shooting a late wedding nearby. Breakfast was lovely, although quite expensive, maybe some beans on the side would have been nice!
Could have done with a wifi password located in the room. Other than that it was lovely.

Breakfast was good. Location excellent . Dinner was good though we had the bread and butter pudding which was disappointing as we hadn’t realised it would be a cold version rather the usual
Menu description of the above pudding! The “car park” was chaotic as it was not just for hotel guests. However, the receptionist did her very best to try and sort out the problem- with help from the chef!
