Located in the town of Pinhão, heart of the Douro Region, this house has everything to offer a fantastic stay.
In perfect harmony with nature, this house of stunning views fits the beauty of a secular vineyard and the calm waters of River Pinhão.
You will be entranced by the stunning beauty of the terraces and the feeling of idyllic tranquility surrounding it. Simply indescribable!
The pool and its lawn provide refreshing and very relaxing moments. Likewise, the river's direct access, through the private dock, ensures magnificent rides of boat or kayak.
The house has a large living room, in two levels, with dining area and lounge with fireplace, featuring satellite TV, HiFi CD, DVD and Playstation 2.
The kitchen, fully equipped, communicates directly with the dining area through a generous counter.
One family bed room with private bathroom. A family bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with shared bathroom.
In the property you find several leisure environments, covered or uncovered, and a barbecue. Ideal to fell the family atmosphere and enjoy the pleasure of an outdoor meal.

This is one of my favorite places I've stayed. On a small river that feeds the Duoro surrounded by grape vines, citrus and assorted other fruit trees this is an oasis within walking distance of multiple high quality tasting rooms and the town of Pinhao which has multiple high quality restaurants. If you value nature this is the place for you. We used the kayaks and paddled out and across the Duoro River, what a wonderful experience. Franciso was most generous meeting us at his house upon our arrival and providing us with an extensive tour. He was always accessible and communicative. We can't thank him enough for the incredible experience we had. Five Stars!

We loved the house, its location and the wonderful helpful owners. They sent a wealth of information about the area in advance which helped us plan the trip.
It was probably the highlight of our month in Portugal.

We had the most wonderful experience staying at Francisco’s villa!! The home has everything you need for cooking, using the pool, kayaking the river and relaxing. The property is beautiful and pristine, with clean bedrooms, fresh grapes and oranges growing outside, outdoor seating to enjoy the view, and access to the Pinhao river. The walk to nearby Pinhao is about 10 minutes. Francisco was an excellent host. A month before our trip he sent recommendations for wineries, restaurants and attractions. Upon check in, he gave us an extensive tour of the house and property, and left us fresh oranges to juice during our stay. When we had an issue with the washing machine, he quickly sent a technician to fix it and was very understanding. We were so impressed with the hospitality and accommodations, and spending time in the pool and patio were highlights of our trip. Thank you so much to Francisco and his family!!

This place does not disappoint. Our host met us and provided a lovely tour of this property. From the riverfront location to the vine-covered gardens to the warmth and spaciousness of the property, it was love at first sight! We were only here for two nights, but loved this location and the wineries and restaurants nearby did not disappoint. We will definitely be back, but for a longer stay next time. Thank you Francisco for your hospitality and obvious pride in your home - it was such a pleasure to stay here!
