Location, look, clean, charming ,
No a/c in common areas. - 43° - that's over 100°f
Seating areas were a little cheap and crappy .
Layout is weird - a 4 bedroom place , with a retail store splitting the property in half.

La zona es idílica. Hay mucha paz y tranquilidad, perfecto si necesitas recargar y desconectar del mundo. La zona de la piscina esta muy bien y te invita a estar todo el dia fuera. La ubicación es muy buena, hay cerca muchos pueblos bonitos e interesantes. No olvidéis probar los vinos de la bodega, los propios de ellos, están muy buenos 👌

If you want to see the Douro Valley - this is the place. The view from the balcony is amazing, also from the pool. The way to Pinhao village is the best of the area. I liked the village Celerios - so cute and quiet but with two cafes. There was also a great restaurant nearby (Quinta doPortal) with excellent food and wine. The beds were comfortable and we found the air-conditioning very helpful and the possibility to cool down in the great pool with this extremely hot weather we had. There was also some touristic and practical informtion on the area, some even in Polish! The palce is incredibly quiet and relaxing. There are some nice walking trails around to discover.
The worst thing were the pieces of paper placed everywhere instructing you what to do and not to do. It made us feel like in a hostel or a place for naughty children. Many wardrobes and doors were closed warning not to enter or open them! We can't understand how is it possible not to equip a place in the middle of vineyards with glasses of wine. You could use those ones in the tasting wine area (at the entry of the house) but with a warning of paying 2 euros for breaking one... It would also be nice to provide guests with at least a bottle of water if a simple wine is too much. You are of coure welcome to buy the wines in the tasting wine area (with a camera!) but the price is not satisfactory comparing to other offers in the neighbourhood. The only thing prepared for us to consume was a small pack of GRAIN coffee (again for children?). And the way to the house is very narrow. Hopefully the weather was good.

The view, the isolated location inside the village, the games for the kids were awesome :)
The way to the place was very narrow.
There was a security camera inside the appartment, looking at the main living area (not at the rooms). Made us feel inconvenient.
There was an unpleasant smell in the kitchen cabinet.
