This was a haven and home, with high temperatures of 40°, the room and bathroom was cool and perfect and the peaceful courtyard had huge and shady trees surrounded by beautiful vinyards. The pool was perfect after a day exploring the Valley. We loved the homely atmosphere, the personal attention from Daniella and other staff, always there to help solve a problem. Breakfasts were just what a traveller needed, more than enough and the dinner and wine tasting was exquisite! We really would like to visit again one day, a gem in the beautiful Douro Valley. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!

Excellent stay, hosts were very welcoming. Book dinner and wine tasting, it is excellent and Manuel is very informative about the family history. Lots of space to sit and relax outside, the pool is wonderfully refreshing and welcome in late June heat.

This was a vineyard in a very small town that had been in the family for generations. Quiet and pleasant to stroll the vineyard outside our room. Very good dinner with wine pairings on sight. Delicious food and wine history/type explained by owner.
Furnishings in room were worn and could use an upgrade.

The rooms we stayed in were modern which we weren’t expecting from the type of property & we felt like we were under ground, no windows
