Journey's End B&B

We had a beautiful and spacious room with incredible Atlantic views. Breakfast was all my favourites- yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, fresh orange juice and good coffee.

Wonderful, spacious, upstairs room with views. We saw amazing sunsets whilst sitting on the comfortable couch. Gill brought our abundant breakfast to us and we ate at a table in the room. A lovely extra was an invitation to join the local swimming group in the morning. The beach is a 5 minute walk. The sea is better than Spanish Point beach as it’s safer (no rip tides), it’s quieter and has public toilets, a change facility, outdoor shower and a grassy area where you can sit if you don’t want to go on to the sand. There is even a resident dolphin (Dusty) who you will almost certainly see if you stay a few days. Don’t stay for a night or two - stay longer - or you will regret it! There are plenty things to do locally if you are not able to sunbathe. There is a lovely ‘loop’ walk which takes you from the house around the rocky coast edge (see photo). Takes about 40mins if you don’t stop.

The Journeys End is located in an exceptionally beautiful and quiet coastal location 5 min outside Miltown Malbay. Our bedroom was light-filled, exceptionally clean and cozy and comfortable. The coastal walk directly in front of the property was scenic and relaxing… The B&B owners are lovely people and Gill, each morning, brought us a fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay there again!!

Journey's End B&B was a wonderful place for us (couple and grown daughter) to say for 3 nights. The home was beautiful - rooms spacious and well fitted. Beds very comfortable. Gorgeous view of countryside, coastlline and south end of Cliffs of Mohr in the distance. Continental breakfast was outstanding. Hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful in planning our activities. Excellent value.

We loved every aspect of this wonderful B&B.
