About this villa rental
Enjoy your vacations at Villa Ios Blue, a seafront magnificent villa with uninterrupted views of the Aegean blue sea and spectacular sunsets while within easy reach to beaches, amenities, nightlife.
This is a getaway experience of seclusion, elegance and comfort. The villa enjoys a prime location, only 5 mins walk to two sandy beaches (Koumbara and Tzamaria) and just a few minutes drive to Gialos beach (1.3kms), Ios port (2kms) , Ios Chora (3.5km) and Mylopotas beach (5.5km).
The villa size is 160 sq.m. on a 6,000 sq.m piece of land that reaches out to the sea. It is actually an architectural marvel, built with respect to local tradition and with true attention to detail. From the outside, the villa structure combines the Cycladian white with pure local stone. All verandas and terraces surrounding the villa are made out of the same stone, whereas the inside of the house is dressed in eternal white all around. The villa interior features a sitting room with two sofa beds and fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, guest wc and two large bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed (1.80 x 2.10) and ensuite bathroom with a beautiful stone washbasin and a large built-in shower. The second bedroom is actually a studio with its own sink facility, small fridge, private entrance and veranda with outdoor seating. It features a queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00), two single beds and ensuite built-in shower with stone washbasin. All bedrooms enjoy wonderful seaviews.
The villa's body structure was diligently built in a way so as to minimize the impact of Cycladian northern winds, offering protection where you need it most, at the two main verandas. More specifically, the main veranda offers seating and dining facilities while a long stone built-in bench reaches out to the barbeque. The barbeque itself was meticulously constructed to harmonically blend with the body of a large rock which the owners left untouched at its natural position. Verandas and terraces of 300sq.m. extend around the villa.
How to reach us? Ios is linked by boat with the port of Athens Piraeus. In the summer there are several boats everyday. The high speed boats take 3 hours to reach Ios from Piraeus. There are also normal boats that take longer. There are also connections with other islands, like Santorini, Paros, Naxos and Crete.
The villa is 5 minutes drive from the port.
We recommend that you hire a car during your stay (preferably a 4X4) as this will be the best way to explore the island, however if you wish, you could rent scooters or use public transportation. There is regular bus service throughout the summer to the port, Chora (the town of Ios) and Mylopota beach.

We went to IOS for my son’s wedding and stayed at Elena and Christos’s beautiful villa. The views were incredible and the villa was very well appointed. Christos met us at the villa and showed us everything about it. He was so nice and pleasant. He gave us a map and showed us restaurants and which beaches were the best (although we loved the one right below us!). Elena was very helpful with all my questions about the island and getting a rental car. We really hope to return one day as it was one of the best experiences of our lives.

Beautiful architecture integrated into the landscape.
An incredible view of the sea and islands, a real setting.
In front, the access to the sea is direct, the water is perfectly transparent and safe.
Christos, extremely warm, gave us all the best addresses on the island. We have them all tested, deserted beaches and fish restaurants, delicious.
At times, at the end of the day, the island can get « very musical » with the clubs celebrating the sunset with music. But it didn't disturb us.
A wonderful relaxing vacation outside the chaos of the cities.

We had our best family vacation ever at VillIa Ios Blue. After a warm welcome by Christos, we settled very quickly in the house which is perfectly clean, pure and white. A real modern holiday house where everything is designed to be nice, simple and relaxing. We enjoyed the terrace and the MAGIC view. The house is west-facing, which enables to have shadowed breakfast and dramatic sunset drinks before dinner. We spent most of the time outside, but the bedrooms also have the view and fresh air through the net (never a mosquito with all windows opened!). Bathrooms are very spacious and much better designed and comfortable than in many luxury hotels. I must say we also spent some time in the living room watching the World Cup on TV (and that was an experience too!). The roof terrace is amazing at sunset time. The villa is located near very nice beaches and close to the port (25 minutes walk, or 5 minutes by car or quad) without being part of it.The entire island is more preserved and secluded than other islands which we visited like Paros or Santorin; there is a real quality of life with a chill attitude. Around are nice tavernas, restaurants and activities (we rented a boat on the port very easily and discovered wonderful beaches and diving areas (including, near Manganari Beach, a cave made of white marble giving an incredible color to the water around). Thank you to Elena and Christos for letting us in their wonderful house!!

We stayed one week at Ios. The property is wonderful, very quiet, beautiful views. The house is built with high quality materials, tastefully decorated and with all the equipment you can need. It is opened to the coast and the sunsets are unforgettable.
There is a beach in the near, a good restaurant and Gialos with the ferry connexion just 5-10 minutes ago.
The property was very clean, everything was ready when we arrived and the owner gave us very useful information to enjoy our holidays at Ios.
We can recommend this property to everyone (with or without children) wo wants to enjoy peaceful holidays.
