The Space:
This apartment has been remodeled by a prestigious interior designer, famous for his contemporary and elegant style, by using only the best materials and fabrics available, while respecting the original elements of the apartment, such as the century old floor which has been carefully restored. The result is a feeling of warmth and well-being, which is the very first thing you will experience when you enter this beautiful apartment.
It consists of a spacious living, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with top brand appliances.
The first bedroom has a king size bed (180x200cm) with deluxe mattress and extra pillows to ensure you have a good night rest. The other bedroom is set up as a twin bedroom with equal quality mattresses.
Both stairs and elevator are available to access the apartment.
Privileged location: Two blocks from Paseo de Gracia and Seven minutes walking to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, Gaudi's masterpieces. It is on the fourth floor (with elevator), facing the historic Jaume Forn building, built by architect Domenec Boadain 1904.
Guest Access:
The apartment is rented exclusively for the guest's use.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is two blocks from shopping on Passeig de Gràcia and seven minutes from La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, two of Gaudí's masterpieces. It is on the fourth floor facing the historic Casa Jaume Forn building, built by architect Domènec Boada.
Other Things to Note:
TOURIST TAX: Mandatory and imposed by the Catalan government of 9.50€ per night. This is to be charged at the time of check-in to each guest aged 17 and above for a maximum of 7 nights.
LATE CHECK-IN:
For check-ins from 8pm to 10pm: 40€
For check-ins from 10pm to 11pm: 60€
EARLY CHECK-IN: (before 3pm) Subject to availability and there is a 40€ early check-in fee. Please note that in case the apartment is being cleaned, the early check-in fee still applies and you can ONLY leave your luggage in the apartment, take the keys and come back when the cleaning is done (around 3pm).
LATE CHECK-OUT: (after 11am) Subject to availability and there is a 20€ per hour. If you would like to have a late checkout, you need to inform us and we will let you know if it's possible.
PETS: Your pet is welcome to stay with you. Please inform us in advance and note that the following charges will apply at the time of check-in:
-A 150€ security deposit, fully refundable as long as there are no damages in the apartment.
-A 50€ pet fee for extra cleaning.
If you are traveling with more than one pet, please contact us before booking.
Interaction with Guests:
We will check you in personally and explain around the apartment, answer any questions you might have. After the check-in the apartment is yours for the duration of your stay! Of course we will still be available 24/7 for any questions you might have, any help you might need.

Just some detailed parts of the apt were not cleaned as per expectations (corners in the kitchen, bathroom etc) + we would expect higher class cutlery and glasses etc.

as the headline says the apartment was fine with the unfortunate situation of a kitchen that is not meant for any cooking. microwave didn't work, there is no oven and it only has two small cooking area of which one did not work. there are many great restaurants in Barcelona but we rent an apartment so one can occasionally eat in. the agency that rents the apartment asked me to only please write a five star review or skip it altogether. the other problem with unique rental is that two weeks after I checked out I still have not received my security deposit. I requested on two occasions to please let me know what the holdup is but no response
