Monte Argentario is an exclusive location, remained among the most pristine in Italy, and is a special protection nature area and special conservation area.
Cannelle, like other parts of the Argentario, is also included in the Area for Sustainable Interior Development (ASDI).
Le Cannelle is a place immersed in the Mediterranean scrub.
Here the guests are us, not the animals.
For this reason it is possible to meet typical animals of these areas, including cats that, like usually all animals, approach houses if they smell food.
Free animals are the unavailable assets of the State, they are protected, they cannot be mistreated, deported, or taken away from their natural environment.
It is hypocrisy to think that in a forested environment, even if residential and 200 meters from the sea, it can be aseptic and free of animals or insects such as mosquitoes or butterflies.
Casa Anita is not a tourist village possibly sprayed with insecticides or where animals could be turned away if they approached the property, to prevent the visitor from meeting them.
We recommend the rental of Casa Anita exclusively to nature lovers, who understand it as such and who are not intolerant to any species present in the area whose list, as well as imagined, can be found with a simple search on the net.
We want to rent our house exclusively to lovers or otherwise not intolerant of cats.
Unable to predict whether in certain circumstances one or more cats might approach the house, we beg those who are intolerant of cats to rent another property.
Casa Anita is located in the exclusive and quiet area Le Cannelle, bordered by two automatic gates and accessible by car only by residents and their guests (on the panoramic road between Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole), 200 meters from the sea and the beach Le Cannelle (a few minutes on foot), in one of the most spectacular stretches from a naturalistic point of view , between sea and forest where you can have fun with friends, spend days in the middle of nature or retire to carry out your activity in tranquility away from the city stress and immersed in the sounds of nature, surrounded by the fauna and wild flora of Monte Argentario.
Our guests receive an electronic key to access with cars the residential area Le Cannelle (where the house is located) and Le Scorpacciate so as to have easy access not only to the beach of cannelle (near the house) but also to that of the "Sassi Verdi" (Green Stones).
The house is equipped with linens, plates, cutlery, kitchen utensils, towels, beach towels, travel bed, high chair, and stroller, sun beds.
The house is equipped with a washing and dish washing machines.
All windows and beds are equipped with mosquito nets (removable if necessary).
All rooms and the living room are equipped with a fan.
Casa Anita is a private villa on two levels, the upper floor externally covered in wood.
Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms, the first with a double bed and a single one, the second with a double bed.
Between the two bedrooms there is the bathroom.
Upstairs there is the living room with large windows in the direction of the sea, a double sofa bed, and a large refrigerator.
Also upstairs there is a small kitchen with everything you need, and where the washing machine is also located.
The house has two entrances, one upstairs and one window door downstairs.
Internally it is possible to switch between floors with a spiral staircase.
Outside there is a private patio with pergola, barbecue and table for cooking and eating outdoors.
In front of the house, downstairs there is a private area surrounded by greenery with sun loungers and lounge chairs.
Being members of the Club Piscina Le Cannelle our guests can attend the private area of the pool bar Le Cannelle and
attend the local pool paying an entrance ticket of 10 euros per person per day to the local management.
For children up to 6 years old, you do not pay for entrance to the pool
Given the current uncertainty caused by the health emergency we are not currently able to confirm the operation of the swimming pool, the Bar at the pool and the restaurant bar at the beach

Lovely rustic escape on the beautiful island of Monte Argentario. House was clean and well equipped, and hosts Carmela and Pier were so warm and helpful with ideas of where to visit and which restaurants to try, as well as local info on the beaches and property. Good base to explore the island, and the local beach is only a 5-10 minute walk and not crowded. We had many playful cat visitors in the gardens as well as lizards and a tortoise, and saw wild boar across the island, so definitely a nature lovers choice. Very relaxing week and could not ask for better hosts for our stay here!Note to the road-nervous - the road to Porto Ercole is unpaved and in poor repair, a hard impractical drive even in an SUV. Nearest shops etc and access around the island is through Porto Santo Stefano 30 mins away so plan your visit with that in mind and be sure to get directions for your first arrival!

We really enjoyed our holiday and were very well informed about everything. Fam Amarti are very nice and helpful as well as very hospitable. We would come back immediately because we liked it very much. The location of the house is also a dream, you are not far from the sea and the house itself has everything you need in terms of equipment.

Das Haus liegt in einem grünen Dschungel und ermöglicht durch die verschiedenen Gartenteile viele unterschiedliche Aufenthaltsbereiche, unterschiedliche Besonnung, Aussicht und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus selber ist funktionell eingerichtet und sehr sauber.
Ganz besonders sind die Eigentümer des Hauses - Camilla und Pier machen alles, damit der Aufenthalt zu einem Erfolg wird - DANKE!
Der Monte Argentario ist wirklich eine oder mehrere Reisen wert - das nächste Mal werde ich aber mein Mountainbike und die Schnorchelausrüstung mitnehmen!

Wir waren zu viert in der Unterkunft für eine Woche Ende August. Die Familie ist sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Beide Vermieter können gut Englisch sprechen das man auch wenn man Fragen hat gut mit ihnen in Kontakt treten kann. Von der Villa sind es ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Meer. Vor der Villa hat man einen schönen Grillplatz der mit einem Sonnendach aus Bambus überdeckt ist. Das Auto kann man oben an der Straße parken.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.Es werden für jede Person mehrfache Hand- und Badetücher sowie Bettwäsche zur Verfügung gestellt.In Porto Ercole gibt es einen guten Italiener namens "El Merendero".Man kann sein Auto ca. 5 Minuten entfernt von der Pizzeria für nur 50 Cent die Stunde parken.Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder bei der Familie zu Besuch sein.Es war einfach nur wundervoll.
