About this cottage rental
Totally renovated, our house is immersed in the oasis of "Le Ginestre di Greppolischieto", a delightful medieval-style village composed of independent houses that share the pool overlooking the valley enclosed in a circle by wooded hills, the well-kept park, the laundry room and the security service.
The beams of ancient oaks, the natural terracotta floors and the beautiful fireplace of the living have bewitched us.
We have chosen every piece of furniture with passion and fun.
We love cooking (and even eating!)!
In the delightful kitchen with dining table you will find the modern local stone hob, the dishwasher for 5 place settings, the mini-oven, the fridge, the four-burner gas cooker, the kettle, the toaster and all the accessories for cooking with pleasure.
The trunk of an old local oak, deliberately left at the foot of the staircase, recalls the contact with the surrounding nature and, together with the characteristic, fireplace makes the large living room welcoming.
In the sleeping area the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and the bedroom with 2 beds (+ 1) are spacious and comfortable both in summer and in winter.
The garden is ready to dine under the stars, lie down in the sun, read a book at sunset and ... treat yourself so much but just so much relaxation!

Our house is a romantic cottage in medieval style, ideal for spending an unforgettable holiday in the unspoiled oasis of the Ginestre di Greppolischieto, a hill town surrounded by the "Selve del Piegaio", a beech and oak forest that extends for thousands of hectares until to reach Monte Peglia.
The limpid air touched by the intense scent of brooms in spring; concerts of crickets, cicadas and small wild animals in summer; the soft rolling hills in autumn, the blanket of snow in winter welcome the stressed citizens and accompany them to the rediscovery of healthy and peaceful living.
A TOUR IN THE SURROUNDINGS
The proximity to Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Lake Trasimeno and the major architectural centers of Umbria and Tuscany, rich in cultural and food and wine events, make the stay always varied and interesting.
OTHER THINGS TO HIGHLIGHT
-Good manners
- Mandatory use of the swimming cap and its own pool towels.
- Heating Cost: € 5,00 per cubic meter;
- In case of drought, the supply of water is to be paid (with the exception of ordinary maintenance of outdoor areas and green areas).
- Deposit € 200.00 to be paid at check in.
- Final cleaning expenses calculated based on the number of bookings.

Das Haus liegt etwas abseits, ist jedoch sehr nett und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es verfügt über 2 schöne Bäder, 2 Schlafzimmer, 1 kleine Küche und den Wohnraum. Der Pool liegt ca. 150 Meter entfernt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und absolut zuverlässig.

Wir verbrachten einen angenehmen Ferienaufenthalt von zwei Wochen im August/September 2017 in dem romantischen Steinhaus. Das Haus gehört zu einem Kondominium unabhängig verstreut gelegener Häuser, die in einer reizvollen bewaldeten Mittelgebirgslandschaft angesiedelt sind. Die gesamte Anlage einschließlich des Schwimmbades ist sehr gepflegt. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig. Das Innere des Hauses ist auf zwei Ebenen ansprechend und geschmackvoll konstruiert. Besonders das geräumige und reizvoll gestaltete Schlafzimmer fand unsere Bewunderung. Wir besuchten u. a. eine abendliche Opernaufführung in dem kleinen hübschen Theater von Panicale und bereisten die Umgebung rund um den Trasimenischen See sowie Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Cortona und Arezzo mit ihrer Vielzahl von Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Unser Dank gilt besonders Luisa und ihrer Familie, die uns sehr gastfreundlich während unserer Ferientage begleiteten.

Gemütlicher, ruhiger Aufenthalt, perfekt zum entspannen.
Schöne Umgebung für Spaziergänge in n der Natur, allerdings sollte man vor Skorpionen keine Angst haben aber damit muss man in so einer Gegend in Italien immer rechnen, die machen nix die wollen nur spielen ;)
Das Haus war komplett ausgestattet, man muss praktisch von zuhause nix mehr mitbringen.
Hätte doch was gefehlt hätte uns Luisa die Vermieterin die gleich nebenan wohnt jederzeit weiter geholfen, wir haben uns bei Ihr sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen!
