this was such a gem!!! The historic Italy feel of the Abbey a was a delight. the staff were more than accommodating, addressing any of our needs. We had the Saturday night dinner, prepared with local ingredients, the atmosphere and dinner were perfect. The property has loving touches throughout, The gardens were a delight to relax in. The swooping and calls of the nesting house martins was so relaxing to watch. We have already shared our experience with many of our friends and family!!
It did not bother us, the stairs are worn, from many centuries of use. I found it added to the charm, but it could be an issue for others, there were handrails that made it safer. No elevator, which we well anticipated, so luggage hauling was needed.

Very suggestive place, in an ancient abbey with a beautiful garden. Very friendly owner, very good breakfast. I recommend staying for dinner, because the dishes are excellent.
The room had some issues with the water pressure, so the water has been missing in the bathroom a few times.
There are several flights of stairs to climb to go to the rooms, so it might not be ideal for elderly people.

-The building is gorgeous, a hidden gem, worth the whole stay.
-Strategical location halfway through Tuscany and Umbria.
-The hosts are super nice and respectful, they did an amazing job reshaping this historical palace.
-Walls so thin makes the space very noisy, we could hear everything and everyone in the rooms near.
-They passed the hoover at 8:50 in the morning in the nearby room while we were still sleeping.
-The sleeping pillows are not comfortable.

Incredible historic lived in building . The central courtyard was absolutely stunning as was the entrance and stairwells with painted ceilings . Beautiful breakfast with a good choice of local products . We ate in the evening in the courtyard it was ok again amazing setting but the wine was excellent and local . The owner was very charming friendly and accommodating
The bedroom was a big disappointment. Tatty furniture and very basic bathroom . It was quite small.
