We recommend this hotel. Staff was polite and helpful. Rooms and amenities were clean and nice. Walking distance to the river, shops, restaurants and train station. Across the road is Choice, a vegan restaurant. Water and coffee stations at the lobby level, and also in the room. We did not opt for breakfast (vegan family, and options are limited - as per the online feedback). We requested and got adjoining rooms (facing the backside, will suggest to request for roadside).
Not sure what to say:), ok, it's not inexpensive. Another one, beds are soft, if one is not comfortable with that.

Comfortable lounge areas and bar. Some of staff very helpful.
I don't think "table and chairs in every room" would mean a Japanese short legged and cushions. Also completely transparent rooms for wash basin, shower and toilet would be unacceptable to some potential customers. Pretentious hotel that doesn't deliver.
