OttoH Charm Stay

The hotel was in a fantastic location, and almost everything was within walking distance. We barely needed to use taxis during our week-long stay. The room was beautiful, and the high ceilings made it feel even more spacious. The air conditioning was also excellent and worked perfectly throughout our stay.

One thing that was a little disappointing was the housekeeping. Although the room was cleaned during our stay, the floor was never vacuumed, so quite a few crumbs accumulated over the course of the week. There also seemed to be some communication issues between housekeeping and the reception. We had arranged a late check-out, but the housekeeper came to the room before our agreed check-out time. On one occasion, the housekeeper also entered the room without knocking while we were in bed, which was quite uncomfortable. Better communication between the reception and housekeeping, as well as always knocking before entering a guest’s room, would make the stay more comfortable.

It was so cute and eclectic, with an authentic vintage feel and design. The rooms were very bright and airy and felt very big. They were nice and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. The AC was working great and super helpful in the heat wave. Check in/out was easy. Very centrally located and easy to get around but in a quiet area.

Our beds did not have blankets, just a thin sheet. The sink in our bathroom was not draining so we could not use it as it would flood very quickly. When I brought it to the attention of the management they said they wouldn’t be able to do anything about it till the next day (ie after we would leave).

Location and cleanliness, nice and modern look

Paper-thin doors allow you to hear all conversations and noises in other rooms, such as cleaners coming to work in the morning and people arriving late at night. This makes it difficult to get a good night’s rest. Additionally, the room didn’t look like it was advertised.
