We had a great stay here. The view from the balcony is spectacular and was the highlight. The location is a short walk to the old town and it’s nice to be a little outside the chaos of the town walls. Good space with multiple bathrooms. I traveled with my 79 year old mom who is quite mobile and handled the steps ok but it was a challenge.

Everyone notes the steps. This is a reality in Dubrovnik but good to understand this specific situation before you book. There is a flight of about 4 floors of old stone steps from the street the old town is on (Ploce gate street) up to the level of the apartment building. There is a railing and my 79 year old mom handled it fine. But we went slow and she took at least one break coming up. Others her age I know from the states, especially with knee issues could not safely do these steps. Once at the apartment level you go down a long flight then up two flights of stairs to the apartment. For us the view, location to old town and the size of the apartment all made it well worth it.

The apartment was lovely with great views from the balcony near the Old Town and Banje Beach. Everything we needed was in the apartment. Dubrovnic is a beautiful town and we would certainly return.

I'm afraid the location for us was very difficult, 129 steps one way and and 90 the other. There were 4 of us all over 70 years old and although fit we could only go down and up once a day which spoilt it for us. The steps were very uneven and different sizes. Getting cases up and down was extremely difficult. We felt this should have been made clear in the details of the apartment and although one review mentioned them the others didn't, had we known we would have booked elsewhere.
