The views were amazing

Property was dated & bathroom extremely small and in need of updating. Shower has mould around tiles and is not that great temperature dial does not work & water was very hot. Bed was not very comfortable & the pillows were old & saggy one pillow didn’t even have a pillow case…

Great views and location

Incredible views, and very close to old town. Real advantage being able to walk into the old town so easily and avoid the buses. Great value for money. Pave was really helpful, let my family check in early, and helped coordinate the return of my dad’s glasses a week later. Thank you!

Very average apartment with a great view.

The location is great and the view fantastic! Host was very helpful with our luggage. Beds were comfortable. Non-smoking. Easy to walk to the Old Town, but remember it is all uphill on the way back!

Photos were very deceiving! The interior is tired looking in the living area and the bathrooms. We knew which apartment we were renting but the photos were much better than the reality. Also, the information provided states there is a tumble dryer and a bidet - there is neither of these. The view was fantastic but the balcony was unusable until after the sun went down as there was no shade at all & the umbrella provided could not be used if there was even a light breeze as it turned inside out. The kitchen had minimum equipment. The hot water system was inadequate for four people - we were two couples, as informed on our booking, but the hot water ran out after two of us had a shower and so we had to wait for it to reheat until the other two could shower. The shower sprayed all over the floor no matter what we did to prevent this. The air con in the bedrooms was great, but the aircon in the living area was broken - as the host was fully aware - & we were advised to just leave the bedroom doors open to cool down the living area. It would be much better if the host would just have the air conditioner in the living area fixed so that it actually works. There was a freestanding fan, but this was noisy and quite ineffective. There was nothing to 'welcome' us at all such as milk, tea, coffee or even a jug of water in the fridge. It would have been very good to have been able to at least have a cup of coffee without first having to find a grocery store and buy some, especially as we were only staying one night.

Stunning views. We would stay again.

Pane was a great host. He messaged us in the morning to find out our eta & then met us at the property to show us around. The apartment was great for me, my partner & our teenage daughter. The air-con was very much needed & worked well. The outdoor shower was fantastic & better than the indoor one, which we found to be a bit of a pain. The views are absolutely stunning & its what sells the apartment. Well equipped & reasonably comfortable beds. We spent most of our time exploring the beautiful city.

The steps leading up to the property are extremely steep & lots of them. You do need to be pretty fit. They could do with some lighting on an evening. The shower was hot & had good pressure but the water doesn't drain away quickly enough.

A place with a nice view but a horrible host

The view of the Old Town

A place with a nice view but a horrible host Definitely the worst experience we have had using booking.com. The apartment is situated with a nice view but there were several issues with the host that took away from anything positive this place has. We had messaged the host on booking.com earlier in the day regarding check in however we received no response. We then found a different number and sent them a text message and no response. We arrived for check in at 3pm and called the number, the host said they had been trying to ring us but we had received no calls. We had to wait in the hot sun for 15 minutes as the hosts were not prepared for our arrival. A kind lady did arrive and let us into the apartment, she was very nice and pleasant and apologetic of the wait. She mentioned that they had been sent a number by booking.com, she showed us the number and we confirmed it was not ours. This was unusual as we have booked via booking.com several times and this has never happened however it was clearly a fairly minor mistake and should not have been a big issue. We were in the apartment approximately 1 hour and a male host knocked on our door. He was rude to us and asked us to close the window we had open. He then knocked on the door a few minutes later with an angry tone and waving a card reader at us saying we had to pay. We were confused as we thought the payment had been taken already through booking.com. We then checked as saw booking.com hadnt yet taken payment so my partner quickly put the payment through. This was a misunderstanding that could have easily been resolved if the host could speak and behave in a calm manner or with minor customer service. Even after we paid, the host would not leave and was very angrily accusing us of giving him a wrong contact number, even though we already explained to him and his wife that this was not our number and clearly an error.

Just perfect!

Everything was perfect. The apartment had a breathtaking view of the sea and over Dubrovnik. The spacious terrace enjoyed sunshine from morning until evening. The apartment was roomy and clean, and the air conditioning in the rooms worked excellently. The host was truly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it to everyone

Everything. The flat is Beautiful, the view is Perfect! 4 rooms (two of them with bathroom) plus 2,5 more bathrooms! Kitchen is good too. Free parking. Plus Pane, the host, is super friendly and always reachable via WhatsApp!

A great option with the best seaview

Amazing view of a city and the sea. 10 minute walk down to the Old City (a little longer on a way back - it's quite high). Nice and clean apartment. Comfortable parking. Very friendly staff. We were allowed to leave a car for a couple of hours after check out.

Some coffee or tea in the apartment would be nice (there wasn't any).

Superb view

Great location, great view out the balcony of the old city. The host was very helpful and kind and even arranged a baby chair per our request. Has most facilities, no dishwasher though-perhaps something to consider. Little pricy in our opinion, but the view makes up for it.

A lovely apartment with a truly fabulous view of an amazing city.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was very clean. The view - wow wow wow ! The apartment is set up high , overlooking the sea and Dubrovnik Old Town. It was walking distance , with a lot of downhill and steps , of the beaches and the town. Very peaceful, safe area.

There is nothing that we didn’t like . We loved it all. We coped with the steps. If you couldn’t you would have to taxi/Uber everywhere instead of walking. Inexpensive Uber.

Spectacular view, but the location is not for everyone.

The view from the apartment was exactly those advertised, and it was spectacular. This was definitely the selling point and it delivered.

The tradeoff for the spectacular view was the distance from the old city, and the height. The direct stairs are very steep and short so it may be dangerous for some people and it was a long walk back. Some of the facilities are getting worn. In particular, the electrical sockets were of the older European type (ie. 3 prongs including earth instead of the new 2 prong + side earth contacts.). There were signs of previous shorts/arcing resulting from loose contacts. These can become fire hazards if not replaced and used carefully. Wi-fi was unstable because it came off a repeater located outside the flat, we ended up just using our mobile data.

Amazing View Over Dubrovnik

When we arrive we had warmfull reception by Stefan and his family that give us several important informations about the City. The house has all the facicities to have a nice stay, and an amazing view over OldTown and the Lokrum island. You can reach in several minutes more than one beach, but prepare your legs when walking around the city :)

Amazing relaxing days in Dubrovnik!

It is a comfortable place with stunning view. Everything is clean and tidy, though some little problem like low battery on air conditioner remote control, the host is very willing to help. It comes with parking space which is very convenient.

You can't get a better view on the Old Town

Absolutely great view from balcony on the Dubrovnik Old Town. Apartment basic (living room with furniture and equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, shower and toilet) but adequate, everything ok. Good balcony (sunny sea side) with table, 4 chairs and parasol. Good airco in all 3 rooms. Very friendly hosts. Parking right in front.

Basic apartment only, not nicely decorated or so. Occasionally some annoying music and stumbling noises from other apartments (but mostly quiet at night). Walking back from town uphill (12-15 minutes) may be a challenge for some people. No bus, but can take a taxi.

church bells and orange blossoms

the view was exquisite. it is outside the inner old town hustle. no hassle with parking; dedicated spot. it's a 2 min drive to town (a taxi will charge you 13 euro for that 1 way trip home btw). there is a private stairway that take you all the way down to the street that leads right into the gate. it takes 10 min to get to town-but MUST be able to do steep stairs. the owner was so sweet and so kind to our children

the shower was so tiny I scalded my skin just trying to turn inside it and accidentally hit the temperature lever! her son Stefan never replied to my texts about arrival nor provided information later as he was supposed to. they also said booking com has their incorrect contact information. this made check in a little stressful for us
