House Boninovo

Fantastic location — walking distance from the port in one direction and the Old City from the other, as well as easy bus access. In the immediate neighborhood is a nice small park, a convenient small grocery store (the ubiquitous Studenak), a fast-food restaurant called Otto that I hear is good but ran out of time to try. (Also coincidentally the location was 10 minutes from a friend's family home so it was easy to meet up with her!). The large white mansion across the street hosts events and dinners but also offers coffee in the morning overlooking the water. Also in the direction of the port is a small shopping area with a couple larger grocery stores, some clothing stores, a small cafe, and a very good restaurant called Culto. There are multiple access points to the water in this neighborhood and elsewhere but I don't wanna give away local secrets :-) And of course, I can't close this review without mentioning the queen of the abode: Rhea, who is indeed the softest, sweetest dog in Dubrovnik. Please give her a scritch for me.

Everything about the accommodation was wonderful. Fadi the owner (not sure how to spell her name) and Raya the dog were both so welcoming. Property was clean, and air con was a bonus considering it was 36deg outside. Property is a 10min walk from The Old Town, with beautiful surroundings and very quiet. Room was great size, with everything we needed for a few days. The street that it's on only has access for buses, but taxi drivers/tour guides can drop you at the bus stop at the top of the road. Bus to and from old town stops right outside. I'd definetly highly recommend this property.

Very good location. Extremely clean. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Rea is a lovely dog. I recommend this place 100% and would happily stay here again.
