Malena, the host, welcomed me with home-made lemonade and biscuits and gave me the same on departure. a Very pleasant and helpful lady. The roof terrace of the property is in the middle of the photo attached.
It was a little difficult to find, but that may have been my fault for missing specific directions in a message sent by the hosts. It was also up three flights of stairs!

Malena is amazing! My girlfriend and I stayed in her apartments for 4 nights and could not have picked a better location. Malena's Palace Experience puts you right in the heart of the Old Town with views of the ruins of Diocletian's Palace itself from both your bedroom window and the attached rooftop/patio/balcony. She was the friendliest hostess we could have asked for and helped us navigate Split with ease. The location was ideal for getting anywhere in the city.

It was clean and newish. Great location
No amenities only toilet paper, small water heater above the toilet permanently set on eco. Very old stiff scratchy thin towels. Owners were in room every day even though we told them no. We let them know about a broken shutter and they blamed us and followed up with fits. Some people are not meant to rent out their places.
