Booked through Agoda, Uber taxi from airport €25 (discounted) took 25mins, walk outside the airport down the glazed walkway into the south car park and Uber will meet you there. The driver cannot drop you directly to the hotel as it is in the confines or the old town so walk down the main marina front and about 1/3rd of the way down there is a gap on the right (look for TISAK on the left corner of the gap) and walk through the gap to where the statue of MARKO is located and then walk to the right and slightly to the right again and the hotel is located in front of you up a small flight of stairs.
The hotel has been beautifully built from the original Roman buildings and the quality of finish is outstanding. Each floor level is serviced by a lift.
Our first impressions were “wow”, every part of the hotel from the reception, bedrooms, bathrooms and breakfast area are spotless and a credit to the cleaning staff.
Having booked a junior suite for a family of three adults we were originally assigned a room with three single beds and was one of the larger rooms in the hotel on the ground floor 102. However, I felt in my opinion that it didn’t quite live up to the status of a junior suite. The Manageress Nella dealt with the situation in a very professional way and the following day our room was changed to room 404 an air conditioned room with a double bed and an additional single bed, a good size bathroom and an out door balcony area to sit outside in the evening with a glass of wine to talk about the adventures of the day - thank you Nella🙏.
The breakfast in the morning was included in the rate and had various cereal options, fresh fruit, ham, cheeses, yoghurt, tea, coffee, pastries and a cooked option of eggs of your choice with bacon and vegetables if required. We considered the breakfast to be a good offering which catered for all.
Finally, beach towels were available upon request.
The only minor issue that needs to be addressed is when booked with Agoda the invoice stated all tax’s etc were paid for. However, the hotel insisted on a €4per person per night “local town tax” on final bill check out.
Overall, we would recommend this hotel which is in a great location, beautifully converted, exceptionally clean, has an in-situ spa for that relaxing massage and the rooms were double glazed windows, air conditioned with external shutters acting as curtains so you could not hear any outside noise when all closed.

Single room was comfortable and a good size. This is a heritage hotel, located above ancient Roman baths. Location was easy to find despite the palace area being easy to get lost in. Had to climb stairs to reception with luggage but was offered a special lift when I checked out. Breakfast was basic with hot egg option.
