Amazing location with amazing view, staff very helpful.

The shower didn’t get very hot and would off been nice to sit in the bar after dinner but was told it was closed.

Great spot for a short stay

Fabulous staff and service. Very relaxed place. Perfect location, easy to find and perfect for walking the town. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious.

Bathroom could do with an update. Restaurant wasn’t open on Friday or Saturday evenings - but it was October and there were several nearby options.

We had a great few days there cycling along the Canal with excellent evening meals !

It is an amazing hotel overlooking the Chateau with excellent cycling along the Canal.The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there is good parking nearby. The rooms are okay— bit outdated but it is rural France. The food in the restaurant was excellent— typical Logis hotel !

Excellent stop-over

The central position, free parking, the location meant our bedroom had an amazing view over the Chateau, staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious. Generous and varied breakfast.

Very enjoyable, would stay there again

The location of the hotel was good with a short (but quite steep) walk into the lovely town. The bedroom view across the river to the chateau was scenic. The room was comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It was lovely sitting on the terrace facing the chateau for the evening meal. The breakfast was good with a choice of cooked or continental breakfast with healthy options.

Although the room was comfortable the shower was very tight to get into with a wall and quite a big step up into it, not ideal for older people

Staff were very accommodating and very smiley. Location was great. Easy car parking and safe cycle storage. Breakfasts were very enjoyable.

A great location to access the town. The toilet facility was not the best as the lid wouldn’t stay up and kept falling down! No window in the toilet cubicle.

What a place!!!!

What Can I Say!! An absolutely wonderful surprise driving through the village and coming across this wonderful view of the canal, the chateau,and over the bridge the hotel!! And what a hotel it was!! The concierge was an absolute dynamo, booking us in, giving us the car park code, showing us how to work the quaint lift and booking us in for dinner. We found our room, and what a room it was! Everything perfect, except we were at the back of the hotel and didn't have a view of the chateau, a small price to pay for such a good room. We had a quick walk round the village we had a drink at the bar then went in the restaurant, the staff in there were as good as the concierge. We ordered the dish of the day and it was served in super quick time and was an excellent meal. Then a quick drink in the bar and chat with other guests . After a good nights sleep went down for an excellent breakfast with more chatting. We then paid our bill which was extremely reasonable and off we went. WE'LL BE BACK!!!!!

Definitely worth paying for the castle view. Staff lovely. Spoke good english. 21€ for a three course meal in restaurant. Parking is opposite hotel at boom gate. Check in first to get code. Lit up castle at night. Loved it. Would stay again.

The long body type pillow. A bit lumpy. Road noise started at 4am. Had windows open because it was warm. Fine if you shut them.

Fabulous spot for a hotel, one night was not enough.

Great location right on the riverside. Car parking is adjacent and secure with a barrier. Lovely terrace area outside. Excellent view of the castle form here and worth paying extra to have a room with a view of it. Josselin is a lovely place and well worth a visit. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. The staff were very friendly and mostly efficient but a couple of them were a bit grubby looking, sorry!

The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The location is superb, just adjacent to the breast canal and looking out onto the Château adjacent a stones throw from the fantastic medieval town. Rooms were comfortable. Water hot. Breakfast excellent in a lovely dining room with superb view.

Hotel was spotless, staff polite , food was very good

Arriving at 2p.m to check in to find no staff onsite, hotel unlocked, called booking .com who called owners we were told very sorry no one available till 4.pm , sat in car till 4p.m at 4.20 still no one there called booking. Com they recalled owner said they be there 5p.m they did not arrive till 6p.m, a van full of people /staff arrived, (looked like they had been to a works outing/party,) laughing and smiling, no apology whatsoever, we tried to call owner several times who either hung up or didn't answer , if there was a communication stating late checking wouldn't have been a problem , so 4hrs of our trip were wasted hanging around ,

The room was a good size with comfy beds. The highlight of the room was the castle as our view from the window. Talk about amazing. What a sight. Well worth the extra when booking. Highly recommend.
