The bathroom door was stucked and it was hard to move. And the exhaust fan didn’t work. The bed was really uncomfortable, always cracled…

We were welcomed with port wine and crackers, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was very central and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. The room had blackout blinds, which made it easy to keep the room dark. Valentim also provided a helpful list of recommended restaurants and sights to visit, which we appreciated. Check-in was easy and flexible.

The place is in need of renovation. The bathroom door barely closed, and the mattress was broken on one side, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The room was very warm with little to no air circulation. There is no air conditioning, which would be essential during warmer days. We also found black hairs in several places, and the shower head could benefit from a thorough cleaning. Noise insulation was poor, and we could clearly hear the neighbours. Unfortunately, our stay was not very comfortable, especially considering the price we paid.
