Fantastic views all around and walk to oldtown within minutes.

The location was fantastic. The views were gorgeous and the walk into oldtown was 3-5 minutes. We had breakfast every morning at a great bakery. Everything was within walking distance. Trips to Füssen and Garmish were a reasonable distance. The location was quiet. We also had a combo washer/dryer. Once I found out how to use it, it was great. There was also a drying rack.

The bed was harder than we were used to, but we found that with most of our locations we stayed at on this trip. When getting into and out of the bed, it squeaked loudly and woke me up a couple of times. When the door was opened and we walked in, there was quite an odor in the kitchen. It smelled like some type of spice, but it seemed to come from the center of the kitchen. The window was also open, and we kept it open the whole time. The kitchen had everything one needed, but the odor was a little too strong for us.

Perfect base to discover the beautiful region

We stayed here for a week, enjoyed every minute. Amazing location, 2 mins walk to bahnhof and to the bus stops to picturesque neighbouring villages as well as to some of the lakes and hikes in the region (with the included guest card). 5 mins to the village center. The apartment itself is cute and cozy, feels more like a welcoming cottage than the normal Ikea-equipped guest rental, fantastic views to the front and back hills, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, good shower. The living room has a large table, useful for work, while the kitchen has a smaller table good for everyday meals for two. The hostess Mrs Vivien Hack is very kind and friendly, and easy to communicate with, and quickly sorted out a dishwasher issue we had at the beginning. The complimentary bottle of wine was most welcome! Very highly recommended for a couple, for a nice long stay amidst rejuvenating Nature.

A generously appointed,, comfortable and spacious apartment with plenty of character in a lovely mountain setting.

This was a characterful apartment - very well equipped, spotlessly clean, spacious and with a verandah and access to a garden looking out at the mountains. As short stay visitors we particularly valued the fact that there were some basic cooking ingredients in the cupboards and the gift of some sparking wine. The host also provided good information in both German and English.

It was a wonderful stay and I would love to return.

It was so close to everything, trains, busses, shops, hikes. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The apartment was comfortable and welcoming.

I would have liked to have dishes for cooking in the oven and microwave.

Fully equipped, clean and stylish apartment in a peaceful location.

Cosy and stylish apartment. Very well equipped as well, not only the kitchen (which I used a lot), but all apartment in general. You don't need to bring your own stuff - everything is there. What is even more important - it's nice and clean. Location is quiet and peaceful with literally no noises during nights (February 2025).

If I have to find one minor minus, maybe the bed mattress, which was too firm for me. But I slept like a log anyway ;-)

Just right

Firstly the location is minutes from the trainstation. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. Small fully stocked kitchen to cook and eat, and refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was modern and had a great shower. It also included a washer and dryer. Great views from kitchen window and from back patio. No noise from the trainstation, actually no noise at all. The apartment is kind of quirky ,in the best way.

Mittenwald- beautiful town when the sun comes out.

Location is great, very quiet and everything possible supplied however when we tried to contact the host about a problem we did not receive a reply.

The property advertised parking but we were told that parking was at the nearby Bahnhofstrasse parkplatz however we were fined for parking there without paying as we were not informed of the need to pay.

Quiet, on the ground floor, easy access to Mittenwald. Train station is 100m away. Easy check in, well taken care of, everything you need in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy and welcoming

A super cozy apartment, which has anything one may need. Gartenblick is furnished not like a hotel or a rental space, but like a real home, which makes it very homey and comfortable. It offers everything necessary (well equipped kitchen, comfy bed) and even more – like flashlights and band aids. The location is excellent – super quiet and close to the central pubs and bakeries.

It would be nice to have a key box where one could pick up the keys with a code. Many properties offer a schlusselsafe and that is far more convenient than having to arrange a specific time to get/leave the keys, as plans change. Couple more pillows would be nice, too. However, these are just suggestions. The apartment is lovely!

Eine gemütliche, hervorragend ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in idealer Lage für Outdoorfreunde

Ich habe mich in der Ferienwohnung „Gartenblick“ in Mittenwald sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal – nur wenige Gehminuten zum Bahnhof (mit direkter Anbindung nach Garmisch und Österreich) und ins Ortszentrum. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung selbst ist außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet – besonders für Wanderer und Outdoor-Sportler ist sie ideal gelegen und der vorhandene Waschtrockner ein großer Pluspunkt. Auch die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich gestaltet. Das Wetter hat fast immer mitgespielt, und der Besuch der Zugspitze bei strahlendem Sonnenschein war ein Höhepunkt. Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Sehr gute Lage. Trotz Bahnhof sehr ruhig und nahe an der Innenstadt. Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Auch eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Heizung und Kamin funktionieren gut. Alles sehr sauber und gut für unseren Urlaub vorbereitet.

Parkmöglichkeiten könnten besser sein. Und ein bisschen Brennholz wäre schön. Die Sitzgarnitur im Wohnzimmer ist zwar schön und praktisch, aber auf Dauer unbequem.

Jederzeit wieder

Ich hatte noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Wohnung gebucht, obwohl es hier eher ein Studio war, war die Küche besser ausgestattet als jemals zuvor. Die Lage war auch bestens. Auch das Bett war bereits bezogen, man konnte direkt entspannen. Das Personal war auch äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Стиральная машина со встроенной сушилкой. Микроволновка. Очень хорошие ножи на кухне. Удобная кровать с тёплыми одеялами и приятными на ощупь пододеяльниками. Гостиница располагается в старом городе где приятно погулять вечером перед сном.

Гостиница не имеет своей стоянки. Стоянка общая на улице. Тем не менее за 4 дня проживания мы не столкнулись с ситуацией когда стоянки не было совсем. В комнате есть буржуйка которую в объявлении назвали камином, но нет дров. В магазине где, как нам сказали, можно их купить их тоже нет. Продаются только угольные брикеты. Где купить дрова мы так и не нашли.

Eine schöne Zeit in Mittenwald

Die Lage der FeWo in Mittenwald empfanden wir als außerordentlich günstig. Der Busbahnhof, die Innenstadt und die meisten Lokale konnte fußläufig erreicht werden. Fahrten nach Leutasch, Innsbruck, Garmisch und an den Walchen- und den Kochelsee waren sehr schön. Schade, dass es zu unserer Zeit keinen Schnee gab.

Die Schlüsselübergabe durch Frau Müller war sehr neutral. Wir hatten unser Kommen zuvor telefonisch angekündigt. Sie übergab uns die Schlüssel, sagte, wir müsste die Anmeldung für die Kurverwaltung unterzeichnen. Den Kurbeitrag sollten wir bei Abreise auf dem Tisch zurücklassen. Danach ist Frau Müller gegangen. Wir konnten in der FeWo alle Funktionen gut wahrnehmen, hätten es jedoch als freundlicher empfunden, wenn uns einige Dinge wie Wasserzufuhr Spülmaschine, Mülltrennung sowie Schaltung des Fernsehers erläutert worden wären.
