Hotel Vila MAX

The rooms were very clean and spacious, the stagf was very friendly. Great view from the balcony, comfy bed.

The only thing missing would be maybe a small night lamp.

A small hotel in the heart of Durrës. Official category 2 stars. We give 2 stars. 2x triple room for cost 125 euros per night. The room is polite and clean. Good location. Beach across the road. The breakfast was quite simple, but everyone will probably find something. Service and reception friendly and polite. Very nice ladies in the sewing shop. A good place to stop for a day or two while passing through. A little damp perhaps.

The location was just behind the beach through a small alleyway, so very close. The room was okay with private bathroom (wet room) with a decent shower. The room had a large double bed & single bed & was quite basic, but plenty big enough for the two of us. Car parking was either within the hotel grounds or in a private space outside the hotel. This was included with the stay.

The french door to the balcony had a dodgy handle which fell off completely. the furniture was pretty cheap with some loose handles. The black out blind to the balcony was a great idea, however, the glass door to the bathroom allowed light to shine through so complete darkness was not possible. Breakfast was very basic, with filter coffee.
