Aura Room 101

The place was super easy to find and just steps away from the sea, amazing location! It was also very affordable considering the access and convenience. The host was incredibly kind and responsive. She even helped us with parking and upgraded us to a better room at no extra cost since it was available. The space was clean and comfortable. Totally worth it, such a great deal!

The owner is very friendly, the location close to the beach, shops and bus stops is excellent, what we got was alright for the price we paid. We appreciated that there were big beach towels and a nice clothes dryer in the room. The AC worked alright, the fridge looks brand new and was very useful. There is a basic kitchen with a gas stove in the balcony and there are some plates and cutlery, but it feels very much like unused overflows from the owner's apartment. Bed is large and comfortable, the check-in in the minimarket below felt a bit strange beforehand but finally it went smoothly.

The free wi-fi provided was basically unusable, kept disconnecting and loading of websites took forever. That is a problem since EU data doesn't work in Albania, as in most European countries, so many people will likely rely on wi-fi. Also the room wasn't perfectly clean, when we moved table a bit it was dirty behind. Also the table itself wasn't clean, there was something sticky under the tablecloth. Shower is constructed in such a way that the whole bathroom floor will be wet after you use it, including the toilet bowl and access to it, but I think this is fairly normal in the region, just like the tap water not being drinkable. Most things in the room look dated and some are even broken, for example soap holder in the bathroom. The AC unit outside leaks water in such a way that it makes the balcony floor wet, which is annoying.

L'appartamento è un po' datato ma ha tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno da turista che pranza e cena fuori casa anche se c'è un angolo cottura minimal. È silenzioso per poter dormire tranquillamente la notte. La posizione lo rende molto comodo per raggiungere la spiaggia (100 metri di distanza), è vicino a ristoranti e market. Molto comodo a passeggiate diurne o serali per il lungomare sulla spiaggia o il lungomare sulla via a 150 metri dalla spiaggia i quali sono pieni di ristoranti/pizzerie, bar, gelaterie, negozi di ogni genere ecc.... La host è molto premurosa e presente perché titolare del market situato sotto all'appartamento. Di sicuro terrò presente nel caso in cui dovessi tornare in Albania per altre cure dentali
