Just returned from a lovely few nights at the Polurrian. We had a sea view room and the view was spectacular! The room was large and had everything you needed and plenty of spares of everything. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the service was great and the food was good. The grounds are stunning and was lovely to sit outside overlooking the great view with a drink. The SWCP runs at the bottom of the hotel grounds and its a 10 minute walk to Polurrian cove which was so beautiful. There is no lift so if you have issues with stairs ask for a ground floor bedroom as there are a lot of stairs. I used the swimming pool which was lovely and they are building a big health spa expansion with a new pool and that will be an amazing addition to the hotel. Even though there was building work at the hotel it did not affect our stay at all. We will definitely be back!!

As others have said the existing jacuzzi and indoor pool is a bit tired. But new outdoor infinity pool under construction looks amazing. Everything else wonderful, lovely old building with a lot of character and various facilities, great restaurant with fantastic views nice staff and generous portions.

This stay was okay but that's it. Facilities seem old, tired and in need of a revamp. Staff were friendly. Food was again okay but nothing stood out as amazing or above average.
The room was okay. The bed comfortable. Dissatisfied that the Elimis products in the bathroom were out of date (a part from one) which we didn't realise till after use and having a mild skin reaction.
We had lots of power cuts and no emergency lighting, these also set off the alarms in the health suite which were ear piercing and detracted from our experience.
The picture used look amazing however the reality didn't quite live up to the expectation.
We found this stay on offer and probably paid a fair price for what we received but pleased we didn't pay full price.
We wouldn't recommend and wouldn't visit again.
