    We recently stayed here for one night while working away in Falmouth. We hadn't realised we'd need overnight accommodation, so we booked at quite short notice. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Sam on reception gave us a warm welcome, explained everything clearly and made the check-in process quick and easy. Our room was spotlessly clean, well presented and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, making for a great night's sleep, and the room had lovely views which made the stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was immaculate, and it was great to have tea and coffee-making facilities in the room after a long day at work. The hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, creating a really relaxing atmosphere. There were plenty of comfortable seating areas both inside and out in the gardens, making it a lovely place to unwind in the evening. The gardens and surroundings were beautifully maintained, and there was ample parking, which was a real bonus. The following morning we enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast, which was excellent and set us up perfectly for the day ahead. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and everything was well organised. Although we were only there for one night and were staying for work, the hotel made it feel more like a short break than a business trip. The cleanliness, comfort, welcoming staff and excellent facilities all combined to make for a fantastic stay. We'd happily stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area, whether for work or leisure.

    We had a lovely too short stay at the end of a wedding in the area. Our stay was superb and the views exceptional. We have already recommended the Trelawne to people.

    We had two nights at the Trelawne hotel. I booked it as it was close to a wedding we were attending. I found the rooms to be small but absolutely spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were delightfull and friendly. The hotel is well located for Falmouth and surrounding area, but you do need a car if dont like walking. Overall, a lovely hotel which I would not hesitate to recommend.

    I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the rest of the property felt quite outdated, from the furniture to the carpets. Unfortunately, my hiking boots were stolen from the lobby, where guests are instructed to leave muddy footwear. As a walker on the coastal path, being left without shoes after they were in the hotel's care overnight was extremely distressing and put me in a very difficult situation. The staff on-site were hesitant to assist me and the owner was extremely unhelpful, refusing to take any responsibility. She would not speak to me directly on the phone, and was more interested in getting rid of me than dealing with the problem. Thankfully, an older gentleman eventually gave me cash to cover a taxi, but this was only after the owner insisted they would not cover my £16 taxi to Falmouth to find new shoes. Overall, the service left a lot to be desired. While the rooms are clean, guests should be aware that if something goes wrong, the owner is unlikely to look after you. I cannot recommend this hotel unless you’re prepared to manage entirely on your own and do not assume your belongings are safe on the hotel property.
