Less than 10min walk from the Lapa Metro so very easy to get around. Buses also but wouldn’t recommend as Porto traffic can be very slow moving if not on the motorway. Apartment itself had all you could wish for from kitchen items to AC in double room & living room. Staff were very accommodating to early check in request Parts of the apartment were old fashioned like the bathroom BUT double room and living room were modernised and kitchen was fully functional including washing machine microwave & sandwich maker. Hairdryer provided well stocked kitchen including convenient items such as bottle openers and vaccum cleaner (I travel with vaccum bags) AGAIN worth it for the price!!

Be aware there is no lift and on the 3rd floor if mobility/luggage is an issue BUT this is partially why it’s cheaper than most properties in the area and affordable! Single bedroom gets very hot as no window or AC - too small to fit in.Also lab bright lighting affected sleep cycle - could be fixed with a lamp. Corridor smelt of cigarette smoke on 2nd floor and as if pets aren’t cleaned up after on the 1st (neighbours) but apartment smelt fine. Towels and cloths seemed clean but found various hairs of diff colours on the bedding of small room as well as some rubbish under the bed so seemed that room didn’t get the same clean as rest of the apartment. Can be noisy in main room due to seagulls early morning chorus but that’s environmental
