Needs cleaning for the walls, floors and dusting of plants.

Location is great. Near a lot of restaurants and shopping. We felt safe. Room was comfortable for two people and we slept well.

Unit is kind of beat up. The floors are cheap and are in disrepair. Hot water didn't work the first day but came on next day. There was a glass of cigarette butts in water in the corner by window that cleaning people must have missed.

It is very noisy, having a lot of car traffic in the street and a continuous bip (day and night, non-stop) from the cross-road to signal to blind people... would all have been fine if the windows would have been of proper manufacture. The shower really needs revemping: i had the shower post poorly fixed leading to the shower head falling twice on my head while showering, I had to re-fix the shower fence myself, the ground is degraded. The stairs to access the apartment are heavily damaged and risk someone to miss a step. When writing to the host about these issues, they wanted to come and perform repairs while I was staying there, no realising this would further degrade the experience, not offering alternative, and when I told them it was not the right value for the money they obviously did not go down the road of discussing the monetary aspect: they are obviously maximising gains without bearing investment: close the place for a week, do the repair, customers will be happy: it's simple.
