Golden Royal Hotel & SPA

I had a very pleasant stay at Golden Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and visit nearby attractions. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, Mr Abdul Rahman was very humble and his customer service was outstanding, he is one of the best I have ever met in hotels.

It was a little pricy

So close to both the Ayasofya and the Grand Bazaar

The reception staff were extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was excellent, everything was easily accessible

The road was a bit noisy at night and early morning and the rooms were overlooked by close buildings so you have to remember to keep your curtains drawn when changing. There wasn't a lot of choice for breakfast.

1. The location is perfect - right in the center and close to everything! 2. The reception staff were very helpful. Yunus Kocak was especially responsive, assisted with changing our room, and answered all our questions. 3. The cleaning service was excellent. We’d like to give a big thank you to Olya, Merve, and Deria for their outstanding work.

1. Some of the economy double rooms were very small, and a few had a 'courtyard view' with a window facing the lift. This meant that when people used the lift, they could see into your room - and you could see them. I’ve never experienced anything like that in any other hotel I’ve stayed at. 2. Unfortunately, Mr. Ersin was extremely rude to me, which left a very negative impression. His attitude was unprofessional and disappointing, especially compared to the otherwise helpful staff. 3. The SPA was a huge disappointment. As hotel guests, we were only allowed to use the facilities for one hour during our entire stay - which is absolutely unacceptable. Even worse, we were treated as second-class compared to SPA package clients. We were rushed through the sauna for just a few minutes, then told to wait in the steam room until the paying clients finished. Hotel guests weren’t even allowed to use the hammam at all. This kind of treatment is completely disrespectful and makes a mockery of the hotel’s advertised amenities.
