Apartment was very well equipped. Very clean bathroom, comfy bed. Pool was good.

Pool was a bit further from apartment than is mentioned in description. You can walk but we drove down to it in our car. The other buildings around are a little untidy and still being renovated.

L'accueil de Gloria et Giulia était excellent, très sympathiques et avec plein de bons conseils. Le logement est très agréable spacieux et bien équipé. Le lit est confortable. Le canapé-lit était ok pour 1 enfant (mais serait peu confortable pour des adultes). Équipé de moustiquaires partout, parfait pour éviter les piqûres ! Situation parfaite pour visiter Sienne (environ 10 minutes de voiture) et la région.

Le bruit des voisins (logement assez mal insonorisé) et d'un matériel type pompe ou chauffe eau très bruyant dès que quelqu'un tire de l'eau dans l'un des logements de la maison.

The location of the apartment, just the next hill over from the city of Siena, made it very easy to drive into one of the parking areas near the series of escalators and ride our way up into the very exciting centre of town. In less than ten minutes we were at the two-level St. Francesco carpark, only a 2min walk from the escalators. The private ground-level apartment with a cute little terrace was in a centuries old building, and was of course old but also very serviceable inside, with little decorative touches everywhere - a large, very comfortable bed in the bedroom with a big adjoining box/luggage room for storage, a modern bathroom with great hot water, a small kitchen with all the bits you'd expect, a lounge area with a couch, buffet, TV, small table & chairs. It is a very "quaint" apartment with a low archway in the hall, which I absolutely loved. Our landlady met us on arrival and pointed us to the parking, spaces adjacent to the property. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience

This is NOT an issue with the apartment but with our car navigation, which told us to turn into the very short little street and immediately turn left - wrong, we should have turned right. Luckily the lovely people in the "wrong" end of the street rang our landlady and she met us and directed us to the parking spot 10 steps from our apartment and away from the traffic. Be aware of this as you turn off the main road.

Die Unterkunft liegt ca. 9 km vom Stadtzentrum Siena mit dem Auto entfernt. Sie befindet sich in einem alten toskanischen Gebäude. Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen eingerichtet. Das Bad ist modern und sauber gewesen. Es gab einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank, so dass die Taschen und Klamotten gut verstaut werden konnten. Gegen Moskitos gab es ein Netz überm Bett. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, aber bereits in die Jahre gekommen. Manche Töpfe oder Gläser waren nicht sehr sauber, scheinbar haben Vormieter nicht gründlich gereinigt. Gloria, die Vermieterin, war sehr nett, hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Das Highlight ist der Pool, welchen wir fast jeden Tag fast alleine für uns hatten. Um nach Siena zu kommen, ist ein Auto nötig, Busse fahren zwar aber nicht so oft und abends vielleicht bis 20.00 Uhr zurück zum Objekt. Für unsere Zeit dort war alles ok.
