The breakfast is good, but I missed that there were no eggs .

The hotel is front sea, the mainly reason of my booking. Room was tidy and A/C run smoothly and constantly, what was great once the weather was very warm! The shower offered good water pressure and temperatures. Lovely breakfast, with fresh fruit every morning and omelette options, cereals and cakes on weekend! I just don’t know if they offer fresh juices because we didn’t ordered, but I have no complaints to number here.

The price could include the beach chairs and umbrellas, even for few hours, with the restaurant downstairs. We weren’t advised about paying for using them and was unpleasant to be informed only after setting our stuff on it and getting comfortable.

We asked for parking, and received confirmation they have on the premises. However, when we got there they said they have no places available, denied their confirmation and suggested we can park at the nearby supermarket (free) or at another close-by hotel for 15 E/ day. Their automatic reply confirms they reserved a parking place for 8 E, but when we got there, they said (almost complain) they have plenty of bookings from customers that are staying longer and it's equal to them if we stay or not. They kept insisting they can offer us free parking (supermarket), but it wasn't theirs to give. As parking is a known issue in the area, they have less parking places than rooms, but keep promoting they can reserve you one.

We had room 317 and our balcony overlooked the neighbouring property, in particular a very disused, dirty and smelly balcony. It’s a shame because whilst it’s not the hotels fault it really spoilt our stay. Very noisy from road. Noisy in the hotel from other guests.

Great communication and help for getting an airport transfer. Beautiful location on the beach, and good value as slightly cheaper than the surrounding hotels.

We spent here two nights on last August. The hotel is exactly over a nice beach and that’s very practical. The bar and restaurant are at beach level and the staff is very nice. Our rooms were not so big, but very comfortable, with a/c and with a balcony. The staff at the hotel was nice and friendly. It was a very pleasant experience and we definitely would come back here again.

The hotel is right on the beach, a little bar/restaurant down stairs looking at the beach. The staff were all amazing and friendly, helpful! The view from the balcony was amazing.

The AC was only in the foyer when you walk into the room. It did not cool down the two bedrooms. if you don’t care about AC then you are fine.

The location and sea view are perfect. There are restaurants and supermarkets very close. It is a familiar hotel and they treated us very well.

Nobody at the reception at anytime. We waited for more than 15 minutes for someone to show up (after calling them a few times) and needed to have a cellphone with internet to communicate with the reception when we needed something (the wifi didn't work well). They don't clean the rooms everyday. When you take a shower the entire bathroom gets wet. We needed to use the hand towels to dry the bathroom. When we asked for cleaning or new towels, they didn't clean and informed that the towels are changed just after 3 days of use. After the first night, the water was cold. To compensate the cold water they gave us a free shuttle to the center.

1. There weren’t hot water :-( That is why I gave 5 stars. 2. Instead of the written confirmation of car parking place for us, at last we had to park outside the hotel.

Thank you for Mija and the Bistro's staff hospitality. We 6 of us very much enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon. Podstrana and the beach was wonderful!

Location is the only good thing about this place.Right on the beach, can't get closer then that. And only 1 well mannered , polite, smiley bar staff- Mateo, thank you for your service with smile.

Staff- no manners. Breakfast- very basic. Communication/ information- none really. Its called Rooms not Hotel- bear that in mind! Nobody at reception to give you information ,tips or answer your queries. There's phone number to ring if you need something or you chase a bar staff to ask. Which ( if they actually acknowledge you) they can't help, in fairness its not their job! Bar staff- our 1st day, no good morning, how are you etc.. and that's me the guest making effort in croatian language saying it to him first! 1st impressions is everything. Not only he was busy playing games on his mobile also messed up the order as he hardly listened to us, walked off mid conversation. That happened few times during our stay, simple breakfast order wrong couple of times! On day 4 when we asked to order from the menu- other staff told us the breakfast is inside on the table. I told him it's not our 1st day and we like to order from the menu. He said its optional and Insisted we eat from inside. At that stage we kind of had enough. Also only due to me getting sick on day 5 my husband was ofdered fresh orange juice and fresh coffee! Which we didn't know we could get instead of the ones sitting at breakfast table. We dnt know if the owner just dsnt care about who he employes or how this place is run or just care about certain guests. There's limited communication / information and sorry I dnt think any guest wants to spend their holidays calling or texting ( and waiting for an answer)if there's any issue or questions. It's a shame as the location couldnt be any better.

Very uncomfortable beds. A lot of noise at night, we didn't sleep for even 1 hour... They are cleaning/changing towels every 3 days.
