Room Inn Vatican

Loved the location! Beautiful area.

The ac wasn’t that strong. Made it hard to sleep at night. That’s more of us being used to the ac in the states

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Will certainly stay there again.

My only concerns are that there are six steps to access the lift. I was able to manage but anyone who couldn’t get out of their wheelchair may struggle. Please say on the website about those stairs. Couldn’t get breakfast as we had an early train and 8am opening was too late.

I stayed at Room Inn Vatican from April 2nd to 6th and loved it! It’s a small hotel with a super friendly vibe. Sara and her dad were amazing, so kind, helpful, and organized, they really made my stay special. The hotel is on the 6th floor of a beautiful building on Via Ottaviano with an elevator, right next to the Vatican and just a few minutes from the metro. Castel Sant’Angelo and all the main sights are super close. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed - kettle with tea and coffee, hairdryer, shampoo, and even an iron 😊 I really hope I get back to Rome someday, and if I do, I’d definitely stay at Room Inn Vatican again. Good location - very close to Vatican.

I am confused about why this was rated as clean. It was not clean. The room smelt very bad of cigarettes when we arrived. I am an asthmatic and we had to spend most of our time out of the room it was that bad. The rooms are very close next to each other and we could hear other guests having a domestic/argument for one of the nights which unfortunately was very loud. The shower and bathroom was not clean. I think the owners do the cleaning so it’s not professionally cleaned. The bed had hairs in it. I would not stay here again. The breakfast is not exceptional either. It’s a voucher to get a coffee & croissant from a cafe 30m away from the hotel. Food was okay but there are much better breakfast options in Rome. Stay somewhere else.
