Hotel Corot

I just needed a place to stay for one night in Rome before very early travel the next morning. This proved to be harder to find than I'd expected - there were a lot of horrifying reviews for other hotels - so I was delighted to find Hotel Corot, and even more delighted when it lived up to its promise. It's comfortable, clean, it's an actual hotel not a weird set up on the 3rd floor of an apartment building, it's got a 24-hour front desk, check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Exactly what I needed and a comfortable room to boot (first decent shower in my entire trip!)

Honestly I didn't stay there long enough to explore, for one night of sleep when I was already very tired it was perfect.

We stayed at this hotel only one night (we were travelling to Firenze next day), its location was very convenient for us because it is a walking distance from the train station (one block or something like that). We arrived a bit late due to or flight and that we took a train from the airport, the staff, a girl good received us at the reception was really friendly and kind. I wish we would have stayed longer at the hotel.

Nothing to complain

It was east to find and near where I need to get transport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The choice of breakfast was very varied. The room was comfortable and kept very clean.

I had no problems so can not say I didn’t like it

Super convenient for Termini. Clean sheets. Bed OK. Old-fashioned / quaint / dowdy depending on how you feel about these things. Helpful staff. Cheap and cheerful.

Tired decor. Stained loo seat.
