    The best stay of my Japan trip - the staff were so kind and the hotel was truly excellent The room was spotlessly clean and the amenities were fantastic. The bed was so comfy; I slept right through every single night. Housekeeping offered daily which was very thorough and always excellent. Location was great and I would 100% stay here again the next time I’m in Kyoto

    One of the most comfortable hotels we have stayed at. The room is spacious and clean. There’s someone at the reception 24 hours. Staff is very polite and friendly. Location is also great, walking distance to many restaurants and Nishiki Market. Not noisy either. Only downside is there’s not much ventilation in the bathroom, so it stays humid for a while and generates a smell. Hotel provides house cleaning everyday so once cleaned, it’s ok.

    You will likely not find a larger room in a hotel in Japan. We stayed in a room on the fifth floor, which had a queen bed and a sitting area. It appears that the hotel has been recently renovated. We paid more for a much smaller room in Tokyo. The hotel is on a quiet street within a 10 minute walk of two subway stations and is a relatively short walk to Nishiki market. The hotel staff were top notch I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are in Kyoto.
