The restaurant served Thai food, cooked by Jeremy's wife, and it was excellent. We had dinner there 3 consecutive evenings and enjoyed the choice and quality of the food. The spice levels were spot on, nothing too spicy, but enough to enhance the flavour of the food. The food came quickly from the kitchen which was a bonus.
Not a fan of showers in baths, but it did the job. Water did splash on the bathroom floor but it was easily dealt with.

The chap who runs it is lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are behind the pub and accessible via the car park, so very easy to get the bags in. Our room was fairly basic but had everything we needed and was a good size - it was a bit like staying in a friend's spare room :) Exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. The breakfast was great!
Nothing, it was all as expected. As the owner himself commented "we're a pub not a 5 star hotel", which is true, so as long as you come expecting great drinks, a lovely beer garden, fab Thai food and somewhere to rest your head you will have just as much fun as we did.

There was no breakfast provided, but a local cafe nearby was available.
Evening meals were a Thai menu. These seemed to be freshly cooked, tasty and rather filling. We ate in the garden both evenings and there always seemed to be lots of locals eating there too.
The room we had a was simple but clean and adequate. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

It was awful. Our room looked out on the kitchen, the compressor for the cold room was also located right outside our window. It was very hot, not even a fan was available. The noise and heat was SO bad, I slept in the car! Booking.com should not have this Inn on their books.

The host, the room and the food was great.
The room opening directly outside in the car park felt unsafe for a solo woman traveller.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was a lovely charming building, near to where was visiting. The proprietor , Jeremy, meet me as I arrived and introduced himself. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, nothing was to any trouble for him. He gave us advice and help. We will be going back to stay at the premises again. Highly recommend.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Warm. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were great as well. Loved the real fires in both the bar area and the comfy room next to it.
WiFi wasn't available in the rooms only in the bar. That's fine in most cases but I was working remotely and needed to not have the distractions of a bar. Also, the television in the bedroom could've been larger.

Friendly host who is clearly trying to make the business work. Comfortable bed.
No wifi in room, and very small tv. Entrance off carpark needs a mat, and limescale removing from kettle. Rooms are a bit tatty despite some recent work. Noise from kitchen cleaning directly outside window until about 10.30pm (for my stay).

The whole experience was excellent. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The evening meal in the restaurant with an ingle nook fireplace with the fire lit was excellent. Thai food at its best. Quality excellent and decent size portions. Breakfast was enjoyale with eggs from the garden.

The staff were lovely and kind; we really enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them a bit. Breakfast was brilliant -- generous portions made to order. The business is a pub and restaurant with a few rooms so we thought it might be noisy, but the rooms are in a separate building and despite being there on a Friday and Saturday night, the pub/restaurant noise wasn't troublesome at all. We *loved* the food at the restaurant and ended up eating there every night of our stay -- there was a brilliant Thai vegetarian selection. The room was cheaper than many of the other rooms on offer in/near Cambridge, but the room had everything -- there were lovely details (like nice toiletries, tea/coffee, etc.), a full bath and a comfy bed. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so lovely!
The only tiny thing to note is that sound carried a bit from the adjoining room, so if you had noisy neighbours that could be a slight issue, but we had no problem whatsoever -- we slept well without interruption. There was next to no noise from the pub/restaurant; we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was during our stay.

Host was very welcoming and room was excellent for a short stay. I needed to leave early so was provided with a breakfast the night before, which was a nice touch.

The White Horse has only a couple of letting rooms, in a converted outbuilding. Good sized room, very comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Licensee and staff all friendly. Very handy for visiting Cambridge.
When we arrived the room was cold, and the electric heating system took a while to warm it up.

Nice little room, but falling behind in cleanliness and comfort compared to others in the same price point. Breakfast was fantastic though.

The inn has two rooms in an outbuilding detached from the pub, so I didn't find noise to be an issue at all. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and very accommodating. Room was large and spacious, with a good-sized bathroom to match. The inn is an a quiet village outside of Cambridge, which I guess could be good or bad, depending on your tastes. There is a bus stop directly in front of the pub if you don't have a car. The hot breakfast (full english for me) was delicious and generously portioned. I would absolutely stay again.
Nitpicking, the TV was a little small, and WiFi is weak in the rooms themselves but strong in the pub (the description notes this, to be fair).

Rural area and close drive to Cambridge uni.
The poor hygiene, maintenance, and not like the description advertised. Used items from the last resident and generally untidy.

This is my 2nd stay in this place. I appreciate the good location and being able to reach most of Cambridge within 10 min. car drive. In spite of the location by the road, the room was quiet.
All was clean (private bathroom) and functional (fridge, coffee/tea). It's not a 5* establishment but well worth the price.
The new management introduced some positive changes inside and outside.
The host was very friendly and we had very nice chats.
In the morning we had a typical English breakfast. For the evening dinner, we chose various options from the Thai menu. The food was really good and inexpensive.
Overall I am very happy with my stay.
Only the internet was available in the bar/restaurant and not in the rooms.

Room was in a little outside chalet and even had a fridge. Breakfast was cooked fresh and as I only had a bacon sandwich the lady was concerned and brought me fresh banana, grapes and strawberries.
We drove to a wedding 31/2 mile away and left our car overnight, the host offered to drive us the next morning to pick it up but we wanted to walk.
There is a small Thai restararunt on site which unfortunatley we were unable to try as there for a wedding.
We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable bed and good quality towels.
The Inn is know for its Tai food which we shared with friends and was outstanding.
Shower pressure was low.
