We had a wonderfull stay in this Casetta. The house itself has a homely atmosphere, with the wooden furniture and pottery. It has all the modern comfort and -most of all - a stunning view over the valley. Right next of the house is a small road through nature for a short walk with our dog.. And right above is a asphalt- road for a 50 min. walk to Assisi. It takes15 min. to walk to the centre of Viole where the nearest supermarket and bar is.
Lots of beautifull historic towns ask for a visit, we liked nearby Assisi and Spello the best. We hope to go back in the future !

Without question, this amazing 3-story villa was the best place I’ve ever stayed in during my 8 years of European travel. This is my 3rd trip to Italy and my second time in Assisi. This accommodation was phenomenal! In addition to the incredible 3-story, medieval tower-home itself, the surroundings couldn’t have been more picturesque. From either the main or upper floor bedrooms, you are treated to views of the Spoleto Valley that are second-to-none. We delighted in eating our breakfast from the main floor bedroom balcony and watching the sun set over the valley at night. There is an amazing tavern under the house with a table and chairs we pulled out into the yard so we could eat outside. We felt like we were dining at our own sidewalk café with the most amazing view. The home itself retains all the old-world charm of a bygone era with a gorgeous antique fireplace and furniture, exposed beams in every room, and even pull-down screens in all the shuttered windows – a definite luxury! The amazing gourmet oven/stove served us well and Simona provided all the essentials to make cooking in the villa a joyous experience. While the internet was a bit slow, we came for the atmosphere and found exactly what we needed. It was incredibly hard to leave this beautiful home which even boasted a rare bathtub! Overall, between Simona’s outstanding communication, the lovely accommodations, and the fantastic beauty that is Assisi, our trip was unparalleled. We can’t wait to visit again!

It was quite amazing with awesome views of the valley. Great location for visiting Assisi and Spello, close to market and restaurants as well. Just note no a/c so hot in summer!
