We had a wonderful stay here and would happily come back. The location is absolutely fantastic — right in the heart of the old town, with an incredible view that you can enjoy directly from the bed. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. We slept very well and felt at home from the first day. I noticed some previous reviews mentioning the lack of a coffee machine, but the host actually provides a moka pot, which makes excellent coffee and was more than enough for us. The host was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Any request or question we had was handled quickly and with a smile. Overall, a great place to stay in Matera, especially if you want to experience the historic center while enjoying amazing views and a comfortable apartment.

Fantastic room, facilities and view over the historic centre from the bedroom window. We had everything we needed for to self-cater, bur our lovely host, Paula, also recommended nearby restaurants. Even though the apartment is on the outside edge of the historic centre, everything is within easy walking distance plus nearby parking is affordable. Highly recommended!

The view over Matera was simply stunning! We loved the location, with an easy walk to historic sites and excellent nearby restaurants. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Although in the limited traffic zone (ZTL), the clear parking instructions made everything easy. A wonderful stay — we’d definitely recommend!
