Luciano es un anfitrión muy especial, un encanto. La casita estaba originalmente escavada en la roca, ahora es cómoda, limpia, tranquila y súper bien situada para descubrir Matera.

Ancient Charm Meets Modern Comfort – The Ideal Matera Stay! This is truly a special place! We were searching for the authentic Matera experience—a home built into the mountain, like a cave—but didn't want to sacrifice modern amenities, and certainly not at a ridiculous price. This home perfectly balances the ancient and the attractive. It is beautifully maintained and well-appointed, yet it retains that wonderful, old-world cave atmosphere that lets you sense what life was like in ancient times. It was far from "too rustic"—it was perfect! And then there is the host: Luciano is a treasure. He is warm, friendly, lovable, and genuinely embodies Italian hospitality. We only stayed for one night, but we connected so quickly. Leaving felt like saying goodbye to a dear, old friend we hope to see again soon. In sum: The home is lovely, the price is great, and Luciano is simply unforgettable.

Good location, very friendly host. All basic items available, water in fridge, nice coffee.

Misrepresentation about bedroom space, there is one space with a loft.There is not a separate bedroom and separate living room as stated.There is a table for 4, but no sitting area. Pull out couch sheets don’t fit mattress and pull off constantly. Very noisy, next to a restaurant, past 12am, not sound proof at all as stated. The bathroom had mould in the shower and the whole place needs thorough cleaning, old pamphlets removed etc.
