Cliburn Weigh Office is a compact luxury holiday cottage. Once a working part of the Eden Valley Railway line, the Weigh Office nestles at the bottom of Whinfell Forest, between the market towns of Penrith and Appleby, in the beautiful (but often forgotten) Eden Valley.
Located in beautiful countryside the Weigh Office provides the perfect base to totally relax and join with nature. With private parking, gravelled areas and decking overlooking (and having access to) a private 14 acre wood, this is a perfect get away to relax, enjoy, explore and stargaze.

I enjoyed staying at the Weigh Office, if your into Nature and wildlife you'll like it here, I loved the peace and tranquillity. A compact little house, clean and self sufficient. The hosts, a lovely couple, were at hand if needed . I would love to return.

Great little property, very quirky.
Very quiet area but easy to get to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales aswell as the Lake district.
Close to Penrith for food shopping

This was an ideal location for me and my dogs lovely walk and warm welcome pack, a lovely bottle of wine and cookies. Loved the cows too! Very unexpected suprise. Thank you for kindly letting your property to me. Hope to see you again soon.
