Good location and a great place to stay on a smaller budget

Lucija is an amazing host and made us feel so welcome from the start. She offered to pick us up from the square to save us getting a taxi Property is great, spotless and has everything you need. She even supplied beach towels/beds and toiletries in the bathroom along with coffee etc in the room. The host shared a lot of information with us about where to go and what to see and was honest about what is not good etc , overall great experience 😀

A wonderful stay made even better by Lucija’s kindness and quick help.

The location was perfect and the breakfast was really enjoyable, but what stood out the most was the kindness and professionalism of Lucija. Everything was spotlessly clean, and when we had a small issue with the sink, she solved it immediately with a smile. Her warm attitude made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything to dislike. Any small issue we encountered, like the sink, was handled quickly and efficiently thanks to Lucija.

The host gave us a complete map with suggestions for breakfast, lunch, dinner, tours, what to do in general. I wish I could stay more days. She is complete kind and the place is perfect.

Great host offering an affordable and private room in Hvar

Very clean room and bathroom, with a comfy bed and good wifi. Lucija was very attentive and even picked up and dropped off at the port.

The accomodation is located up the hill behind the port, so it is peaceful but does mean there is 10/15 minute walk up the hill to the room. Not an issue if you don’t mind the walk.

Location was perfect - very close to the main area and only a short walk away. Host always made me feel welcome. Lucija picked me up from the ferry and also dropped me off when leaving. Thank you for the coffee machine - for my morning coffee. Thanks so much.

Amazing host.

The host was super nice and attentive. The property had everything you would need on a trip (iron, hairdryer, ac, tv) and more (soap, razor blades, soap, toothpaste, etc).

The hike from old town, but it’s not terrible and allows you to indulge even more in the local cuisine.

Clean, Comfortable & the best host in Hvar!

The property was clean, comfortable and had so many facilities (if needed). Hairdryer, beach mats, iron etc. An amazing shower too! Water and coffee provided for us. The host was amazing from the get go. She was contactable before we even arrived to answer any questions. She picked us up and was so informative. It’s a steep walk from the apartment into the town but it doesn’t take long and the views specifically at sunset are worth it. 10/10

Best Guest House and Host in Hvar

The host kindly picked us up from the port and gave us great recommendations for our stay including activities, historical landmarks and restaurants. She was very welcoming, responsive and provided us with complimentary drinks and beach towels which was a lovely personal touch. The property was clean and modern with a stunning private balcony. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or guest house.

For those guests that are wanting to be more central, this property is a little out of the way of the crowds and it is on a hill however this was something we loved as we could escape the touristy areas of Hvar.

Lucija is a really nice host! She drove us from and to the ferry so we didn’t have to walk up the hill with all our stuff. She gave great recommendations on what to do on the Island. The room was in very good condition and really clean.

The room is quite big, clean, and looks new. It includes a lot of stuff like toiletries, sun bed, beach towels, water and beer. The hostess also picked and dropped us off from the old town. She is very kind, supportive, and great overall.

The place is not far from the center (15 minutes only) but it is an uphill walk. It can be a challenge for the elderly and kids. But if you have car or a scooter, then it is no problem.

The modern room was so lovely with a very spacious clean bathroom that had everything you need from toothpaste to toothbrushes to shampoo and body wash with a very clean bed. Lucija was very kind and made sure we were comfortable. There were also beach towels and sun beds for the beach which were so useful! The location is just a short 10min walk down to Hvar town and a 15min hike back up. Lucija even drove us up and down a couple times just for our convenience, offered to store our bags, gave us late check out, picked us up, and dropped us off! I definitely recommend booking this guest house and you won’t be disappointed!

The owner was very kind and would regularly drop us in and out of town as well as offer to clean our clothes.

Was a little bit far from town if you were walking but was manageable and in a more residential area so noise has to be kept quite low.

Showed us great locations on the island and shared ideas for activities, etc. Offered to pick us up from the ferry and drop us off, as well as our luggage. Offered beach cushions, emergency toiletries and some treats! Room in great condition, clean and very modern, everything worked fine! Close to the old town and walking distance from the beach. Cozy room away from the noisy old town.

Super welcoming host Lucija picked us up on arrival and gave all necessary travel information. The room itself is small, but was enough for 2 people with 2 small suitcases. Certain bathroom / hygiene products also provided - good for those who travel light. Bit far from Hvar old town, but good for those who want to be away from the noise. Would recommend anyway since amazing price / value ratio!

A perfect stay in Hvar

Had an amazing stay here! You can tell that the host takes a lot of pride in the guesthouse - everything is really well thought out and there is everything you need. I loved having my morning coffee on the balcony. The host was extremely helpful with check-in and check-out, assisting me with transporting my luggage. The amenities were a lovely touch and the cold drinks in the fridge were perfect after travelling to get there! Thank you Lucija!

Comfortable and welcome

Our hosts were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do more to accommodate us. Lucija picked us up and left us to the ferry, and offered a lift anytime we needed one - the centre is a short walk so it wasn’t needed but very much appreciated. Really lovely and helpful people

The guest house Milan was the perfect location for us and not far from the centre. The host was very thoughtful with her gift as well as all the little required things such as toothbrushes and hair dryer.

Lucija was the best host you could possibly ask for. she was so kind, despite the property being a little bit of a walk into town, she did not hesitate to drop me into town and pick me up from wherever I was. she provided me with plenty of really good recommendations and things to do. she made me experience well worth it!

Lucijia the host is the NICEST FRIENDLIEST and most helpful host we have EVER experienced. She was so kind to help us pick us and our luggage up from the ferry port and drop us back. She gifted us a lovely bottle of wine and gave us so much love tips and tricks for the city. I felt super safe knowing I could call her any time or WhatsApp her for advise. I felt reassured and welcome in a foreign place. We had a beautiful balcony and bed. Very comfortable. Tv fridge etc all included but the small touches such as beach padding rolls and a huge basket of toiletries - and proper toiletries with earbuds sanitary products, deodorant - anything you could think of was included for you. We couldn’t be more looked after. Thank you so much.

Fantastic owner, great value for money.

The owner met me from the ferry in her car to take me to the apt with my case and my also drove me to a beach and drove me to the covid centre for my test. The owner went way beyond the call of duty and really helped me out. The apt had a few treats in the room when i arrived and was clean with a lovely outside balcony.

We can highly recommend this place! It was very clean and the service was perfect. The host was amazing, offered to pick us up, give us rides to the city and drop us off at the ferry after the stay. She also provided coffee for the Nespresso, water, tee, extra toothbrush or similar if we needed such and so on. And best of all a little local souvenir and great tips on where to eat and what to see while in Hvar. Better service is hard to find! The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great with a beautiful view over the fortress in the hills and over the ocean. We can only say that this is great value for the money.

A dream stay - spotlessly clean, bright, modern, well located, and the best host!!

Lucija was the best host we could have asked for. She welcomed us by coming to pick us up from the port to save us having to walk with our luggage to her place. She was also extremely helpful in providing tips for things to see and do around the island, as well as arranging our boat hire. She was very responsive, and even dropped us off to where we needed to go next after we checked out. Her place is situated on the top of a hill, a 10 min walk from Hvar old town. As a result, it is well located for easy access to the town center, and also benefits from great views. Lucija has furnished the rooms extremely well, complete with essentials (water, tea, coffee) as well as bathroom items (e.g. toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.). The room and bathroom were both spotlessly clean, bright and modern. Lucija had even provided additional hand sanitiser and face masks. We wouldn't have changed a thing! Thank you Lucija!!

Amazing experience

Guest House Milan was a great property in Hvar. The room was comfortable and spacious, even with a gift and a bottle of water when we arrived! Lucija was so welcoming and one of the nicest people we’ve met on our trip. She went out of her way to accommodate us and helped us plan our time here with amazing suggestions. We highly recommend her property!

Simple and perfect!

The host was extremely nice, very helpful, and had great hospitality. Room was very clean and had everything required for the stay. Beach towels, bath towels, beach mats, and even a nice bottle of wine.

Maybe ask the host to explain how the air conditioning works as we struggled a little whish the first 2 nights were either very warm or too cold. Otherwise perfect!

I would absolutely recommend this place to stay

The location is great! Close enough to walk into town but private enough to not hear any noise. It was super clean and the host was so helpful and amazing with communication! The balcony is a great addition and fabulous for a drink before heading out.
