Nice Choice for Hvar!

*Nice balcony with view of the sea *Comfortable bed, and I have a bad back, so I'm picky! *Good A/C! *Fridge keeps things ICY cold! *Good size bathroom, shower on the typical small size that can be common in Europe *Good water pressure and temperature! *Owners were very nice! **Tip: WiFi info is in the shared hall if you have one of the double rooms. Info only: we had two single sheets for the top. Could be a pro or a con depending on the couple - at least I didn't steal the sheet all night this time 😆 Other info only: ocean views in this case come from being up above the old town. That's true of a lot of lodging in Hvar. If Google Maps tries to send you up some crazy side street to the right of the church, just be aware that there are about a million stairs. You're much better off going down the Riva past the Monastery and a walkway will take you to a main road. It's still an uphill incline, but much easier if you're hauling luggage!

*There was only one small thing, which likely can't be changed, so informational only: my partner was woken up early because the pipes made quite a bit of noise when the other people showered. I wear ear plugs sleeping, so I don't notice it. If you're sensitive to noises, ear plugs could be good, just in case

The host is very good, helpful and approachable. The apartment was good with good amenities. The location is near to center. Private parking was great.

The checkin information could have been better, as we initially struggled a bit to figure out the correct apartment inspite the address provided.

Perfect for a couple of nights.

Cracking location with a nice walk down to the harbor and old town. Room and comfort of the beds were basic, but really good when in comparison to the price!! Nice view from the balcony. The owner was very nice and let us fully check in a couple of hours early. Would definitely recommend.

This was a last minute reservation made late in the evening as we expected to travel to Hvar island the next day but got our dates mixed up. We were very happy they accepted our booking. The room was perfect for our one night stay. The shower was hot and powerful and the room was nice and clean. Parking available right outside the guesthouse and the host was lovely.

Dregiza the host has over 40 years of hospitality experience and it is evident from you making feel home. She is nice and helping and give good tips. The room is comfortable and has everything you need. There is a nice restaurant Gustico nearby which offers good pizza options.

Wifi signals were bad. We used our mobile connection throughout.

Les propriétaires étaient très sympa et la grand-mère parlait un peu français donc c’était plus facile de communiquer. Nous avions 2 appartements bien équipé et climatisé. Très calme

Apartamento recomendable para pasar una noche en la isla de Hvar.

Apartamento cerca del centro del puerto y del pueblo , (12-15 min andando) , y a 8 minutos de una playa con no demasiadas rocas y chiringuitos para comer (el acceso a ella no era muy cómodo, pero merece la pena bajar el acantilado). La habitación estaba perfectamente limpia cuando llegamos, 3 camas individuales y cómodas. La señora de la casa y su hija fueron muy amables y nos dieron también toda la información necesaria. Cocina equipara con lo necesario para pasar la noche.

Algo complicado para encontrarlo porque no veíamos la señalización por ninguna parte de la calle.

Buena ubicación

La habitación estaba bien en general y tenía la ventaja de estar a unos 20 minutos andando de la playa y del centro. Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta que los caminos son muy típicos de Croacia: cuestas, escaleras y empedrados. Como puntos negativos, la almohada resultó incómoda y el baño bastante justo y poco práctico. Además, el entorno era algo ruidoso, lo que restaba descanso. Lo mejor fue el trato del personal, siempre amable y dispuesto a ayudar. En resumen: alojamiento correcto si no te importa caminar un poco y buscas buen precio, pero con detalles a mejorar en comodidad.

Bien pour une escale à Hvar

La possibilité de bagagerie dès notre arrivée et la journée du départ en attendant le bateau. Le frigo dans la chambre. Le balcon vue mer. Les volets ! Logement proche d'un joli chemin de randonnée jusqu'à Milna. Le supermarché à proximité.

Difficile de comprendre où se présenter lorsqu'on arrive au numéro 14. 10 minutes d'attente avant de croiser une jeune fille réservée qui nous donnera peu d'explications. S'attendre à quelques escaliers et montées, en venant du port (15-20 minutes de marche).

La ubicación cerca de los restaurantes y del centro andando a unos 10 minutos y la señora del apartamento muy agradable, su hija menos

Muy viejo, encontramos dos cucarachas en el baño, ropa de cama y de baño viejo aunque aparentemente limpio, vive la señora con su hija y su marido y nietos enfrente y a las 6:30 de la mañana los nietos que son pequeños juegan en la puerta del apartamento porque se sientan ahí y hacen ruido, no tiene persianas y entra la luz también muy temprano

- Ci sono le imposte alle finestre così che non entri la luce la mattina - C’è il frigo

- Il bagno era sporco, con fili e cavi che uscivano dalle pareti - Il water era sporco - Un asciugamano era sporco - Non è stato acceso il boiler dell’acqua quindi abbiamo dovuto fare la doccia completamente fredda (non c’era così tanto caldo da poterla fare gelata) - L’host non è mai stata prontamente disponibile. All’arrivo le ho scritto, nessuna risposta. L’ho chiamata e solo alla 3 chiamata ci ha sentiti. Successivamente, l’ho chiamata 3 volte nuovamente per capire se ci fosse da accendere il boiler (teoricamente si deve accendere prima che arrivino gli ospiti in modo che l’acqua abbia modo di scaldarsi), e nessuna risposta. Al che le ho scritto e non ricevendo risposta, abbiamo acceso noi il boiler, ma non potendo attendere così tanto per avere l’acqua calda abbiamo dovuto farla fredda. - Assenza del bidet ovviamente come nella maggior parte dei posti in Croazia
